Last Summer I was in Lithuania for my holidays.....I've already been there two times and there will be many more!!!!! 🇱🇹 I found a clean, super interesting and historic Country, tasty food & beers and polite and friendly people!!!!! I recommend to everybody a vacation there, you will not regret!!!! 🇱🇹 👍 Love love love from Italy 🇮🇹 🇱🇹

Out of the 3 Baltic states, Lithuania is my favourite. Tap water is so tasty, trains are impeccably clean and Vilnius is FULL of beautiful churches and the views from the hill are breath-taking. Kaunas was amazing as well and all the people were so polite even the doggies and their owners looked civilised. Good to see so many young, cool and modern people in the video.

Well from my perspective of Poland Lithuania has nothing to offer, I have never been there but I have met people from Lithuania in England and based on my zero knowledge about this country apart of common history I would describe this country as a big village with potato fields that has nothing to offer and suicide rate is so high. I know probably is not true but I have never been there and that's jsut pieces of information that creates picture of that country in my mind but I will definitely visit because I like to be surprised and I know it is probably opposite to my imagination

True story- there was a guy from the US who appeared on the tv show COPS, can't remember what he did exactly besides being drunk, but most of the time he was just shouting to the cops hes an American and he has rights!!! :D

I'm a British delivery driver and work in Vilnius. The US embassy over there is large and rests between the 'Horns' of Tauro Hill. (You can google map this to see. Anyway, the US has a great rapport with Lithuania and only last April there was a big parade that included the US military and their vehicles and the Lithuanians really loved their appearance. You see many US tourists in Lithuania and there are many bars that copy the American theme. There is also an area called Uzipus which is a 'country' within Vilnius and has its own 'constitution'.

@@makarenkoeugene3645 Да, Литва воспользовалась катастрофической ослабленностью Руси и аннексировала её западную часть. И аннексия не везде шла мирно. Многие земли были именно завоеваны. И русские потом оказались в Литве на совсем других условиях, чем на которых входили. После принятия католицизма и унии с Польшей русские по сути превратились во второй сорт. Переяславская рада была закономерным результатом.

Because Poland is a huge village. It has amazing cities. Amazing potential. Yet it is a mess, and doesnt even function as a country 😄. Lithuania is smaller thats why in some measures we are a bit below, other than that we are more developed, fast moving country which is making progress rapidly. While Poland is a joke of europe. Moldovians are 1/3 there. Thats why this region is problematic. I want you to understand me correctly. I really wish my gornment will stop messing post-soviet countries to get influence on regions. You are right. Russia and Belarus are two nasty dictatorships that are Lithuania's neighbours , though. Russia and the USSR had occupied and destroyed Lithuania twice in the past and wouldn't mind to make Russia out of Lithuania in the future. They hate us there, so we have nothing to love them for. I do not live in russia now but i still love my country very dearly. I’v been in Lithuania 3 times. Lovely place :-) Warm people, good service, and very safe and peaceful . Some people dont speak english there, but many speak russian, and I also speak some russian, even thou Im a norwegian myself, and never been in Russia. Dosent look like most of the lithuanians in general have any problem with the russian language and russian people, its more about politics I think. I see them communicate in russian when they talk to latvians and estonians :)

Lots of older people still speak Russian cause of the Soviet times but the tendencies are changing. Russian language is still spoken in Vilnius cause there are a lot of Polish and Russian minorities. If you go outside Vilnius, in any other place English is the second language to 99% of the people under 30-40 years of age. But still the more languages you know the better it is

@@manovardast hi, thanks for your comment. I have speak russian in Palanga and Shventoji and Klaipeda to young lithuanians also, even lithuanians without russian harritage background. It look like most young people speak SOME russian, maybe they learn Lithuanian first og all, than English and as the 3th? Am I right? :) , and even some speak russian more than english. I sometimes speak english with the younger one, some of them dont speak so good english, but most of them do... I remember in palanga some places I was going to order food. The person who served me had struggels to understand me, so I ask him if he spoke russian, and he say «not no much, but still more than english», so he prefere russian, and he was 100% lithuanian , he was less than 25 years old, and had lithuanian as his native language, but, I feel that most young lithuanians speak english better than russian

@@kk440635NORWAY Yes, English is the main foreign language while you can choose German, Russian or French (really depends on the area and certain school) as your third language, and therefore most of them choose Russian (I did as well) cause it's more valuable if you look at the context. And yeah about your example, maybe some people are not that good with foreign languages at all :D

I love languages, and I understand almost everything in english, but i struggle little bit with grammar in forein languages, and I might whrite some word very wrong in english and in russian. Your country is so wonderful. Been there 3 times, very safe and friendly. I feel a much warmer atmosphare in Lithuania than I do home, in Norway, more smiles, better service and less arrogance than Norway in my opinion, at least that is what I have notice , but people are different no matter where you go, good and bad people is everywhere

@@kk440635NORWAY Thank you for kind words. I've never been to Norway but from what I've heard and seen in the videos it is amazing. The scenery is very different from Lithuania cause here it's all about flatlands while you guys have huge mountains. Scandinavia is really nice and it's one of the goals for me to visit these countries. Talking about atmosphere, I think foreigners tend to notice that Lithuanians are cold people but once we know someone better we open up and show all our sides, but probably different people experience different personalities and reactions. Once I visit Norway, I will be able to feel the differences between people myself
