I’m Soooo happy for you!!! Last time we spoke through email, your sabbath was Sunday. There’s a beautiful blessing, resting on sabbath. Our family has benefitted so much from it. Keep listening to the Lord, His will is better than anything we can muster up. I also want to say that the 7th day sabbath is a remembrance of creation and if we keep the sabbath we acknowledge that the Lord created the heavens and earth in 6 days, and on the 7nth day He rested.
So happy to hear you are listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit as He calls the attention of God's people back to His special day of rest. My husband and I have kept the seventh day Sabbath for many years and can attest to the blessing it is to both mind, body and soul. I am confident your family will be richly blest as you continue to follow the Spirit's leading. The scriptures you read show a good balance that the Sabbath is meant to be a day of delight, a day to worship the Lord in HIs created words and a day to do good to our fellow man.

@@Lcwp1963 I am proud and ashamed at the same time now that I realize we have been wandering in the wilderness for so long because of "insubordination" after our forbearers collectively rejected the 1888 message. Jesus isn't waiting on prophetic events to happen so He can come back. He is waiting on His rebellious bride to submit and allow Him to perfect her. The 144,000 must be close to ready and this gives me great hope. Current events tell us that probation is soon to close and that can't happen until the 144,000 are sealed. I have personal and collective guilt that the pain and suffering continue on, on this sad planet. Jesus should have been reunited with His faithful long long ago. Yet, I wouldn't have been born if He had been able to come back I, the 1890's like Ellen and the pioneers said He could have. I just pray that we all surrender fully and help hasten the 2nd coming. I just lost my dad in October. I want to be reunited with him and so many more as soon as possible. Blessings fellow multi-generational SDA.
I am a Seventh-day Adventist and know and believe that no other day is to be rested on than on Saturday. Not sunday. Sathurday is the day Jesus also rested in the grave.
Dead people cant keep anything. I used to think the same thing but its clear that lawkeeping is only for those who are living, as the dead cannot do anything let alone break any law. Christ is the Sabbath. The shadow of the day revealed the new covenant of holy spirit living and constant neverending communion with Christ. He took the FULL wrath on God on Himself on behalf of each believer so we never have to because there is no condemnation to those in Christ, and we are not appointed unto wrath but unto salvation in CHRIST. We can enter into God's rest in Christ just like the communion that Adam and Eve (before the fall) had with God in the eternal state of the earth (the never-ending prophetic 7th day which that day God CEASED from HIS labor so He could commune with Man) and He has that again with us as though we never sinned to those who FULLY PLACE THEIR TRUST in the blood of Christ (2nd person of God (YAHWEH) in the flesh)
@@silversilk8438 We are to remember it. There is no need for people to be legalistic about it. It's not a salvation issue, you won't go to hell for not resting on it. But, it is good to rest on Sabbaths whenever possible. The Sabbath was made for man, not man made for the Sabbath. Ultimately we find our rest in Christ, He is our Sabbath.
The Father has a love language and this is it! This is the sign that we belong to Him. And if He never changes and what was declared right can never be wrong and what was wrong can never be right then the seventh day Sabbath is what he wants to see us do. That’s an actual physical rest to spend time with Him and rejuvenate. When we say that Messiah is our rest but we don’t actually rest then it’s not a true rest. Our physical walk should line up with our spiritual walk. End time prophecy declares that all the sabbath requirements listed from the beginning will be reinstituted again. “For whatever was written before was written for our instruction, that through endurance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have the expectation.” Romans 15:4 “Six days you labour, and shall do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of יהוה your Elohim. You do not do any work - you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, so that your male servant and your female servant rest as you do.” Deḇarim (Deuteronomy) 5:13-14

@@catrionagoldthorp9040 Yes, resting on Sabbath is not exactly the same as being SDA. Ellen G. White teachings, doctrines and being a vegetarian or vegan, are another topic all unto themselves. Neither day is going to save you, only trusting in Jesus is going to give you true rest.
It is so nice to know we all aren’t alone in observing and loving The Sabbath. For many years I felt alone especially because none of my biological family observes the Sabbath. I encourage anyone who feels lonely to be assured you are kept in perfect care of The Father and He will give you a community all His own. I believe it is important to feel and grieve these losses and I advocate for mourning Holidays as well. I would have been so much farther along in my journey if I would have been encouraged to mourn what I lost. 🦋

The Bible is 100% clear: the 7th day of the week, Saturday, is the true Sabbath. Created by God after creation as a gift for humanity. I LOVE the Sabbath, look forward to it every week. It literally re-charges my energy for the new week.

They rested on Saturday and go to service in Sunday, so Sabbath means really rest, right? so why do SDAs tend to condemn those who worship in Sunday? They too worship in sunday Sunday but they physically rested and spiritually rested in Saturday

Out of the ten commandments , the only commandment that starts with REMEMBER, is the 4th commandment. Just bc the GREGORIAN calendar came along and people changed the numbers of the day to the names of planets and their Gods, does not mean that we let Satan confuse us and do the same. The Jewish have never changed their calendar and the whole world knows, even if you go look in a dictionary or a encyclopedia, you will find that the 7th day is Sabbath (Saturday). I am very proud that they chose to obey Gods word and not follow other mens words. In the past, the majority was not with God or Jesus, when he came to our world to save us, and now in the present, unfortunately, Satan continues to confuse the masses! What a blessing to be studying about the Sabbath as a family. My family observes the 7th day Sabbath, just as Jesus did. It is a wonderful time we have each week to rest from all the typical activities of the rest of the week, and to spend that special time with God and honor Him. God is moving in your lives, and leading you ever closer to Him through His Word.

What a blessing and example for us all🙏Thank you. I too, observe Friday night sunset to Saturday night sunset as my sabbath. I was blessed to live in Jerusalem last year for 4 months and spent time with my Jewish host family. Each week I observed Shabbat dinner with them. After I left Jerusalem, I moved to the land of early Christians. What a blessing it is for me to live here- knowing so many early Christians were Jewish and observed the sabbath on Friday to Saturday. I live in modern day Turkey near the 7 churches in the book of Revelation. I’m grateful each day to serve the Lord in a simple way with my simple life. May God bless your family. Sabbath is a blessing!! God has special blessings of light, health, and strength on the Sabbath, if instead of saying and doing what we want, we rest and we spend time with him (Isaiah 58). Sabbath is sort of like a date with our King.

All I can say is, isn't God's word amazing!!!! We began enjoying the Sabbath about 15 years ago on our own as well. When you look at the world it is interesting how geared it is to "forget" the Sabbath.

@@Chronicles_of_a_Layman yes Sabbath is on Wednesday this year and starts at dawn and ends at dawn. Yes all this studying hopefully will be correct. Been through many trials trying to find the truth. Also says let no man judge you about the Sabbath for it is a shadow of things to come.

The decorations, foods and music are traditional and nothing more. plater full of fresh fruits and nuts, fresh vegetables in and out of the refrigerator, making a fesh chicken stew, and trying to keep up with the weather. I just realized we all were created on the sixth day. That's a lot of goodness to have in praying for everyone. May I ask you a question. You are a SDA. I remember Sunday Blue Law in Louisiana USA, where I grew up. I have been in several Adventist and one sort of Adventist. I learned they hated Catholic and they had a mistrust near hatred for our nation's leaders like they were at anytime to force Sunday Blue Laws to remove the Sabbath. Is that the way it is in France? My momma knew I had an interest in Sabbath. She told me of Seventh Day Baptist in a city of where I later went to college. That church long left before I was born. As a Seventh Day Adventist, I worship and rest on Saturday Sabbath too!! It's so awesome that your family came to that truth! I grew up with Saturday Sabbath and thought my church and the Jews were practically the only ones. Love your videos! God bless
Dear sister Emily, we the Sabbath keepers are a lot in the world, not only the SDA Church but also Messianic Jews, Church of God (Seventh-day), Seventh Day Baptists and many others...also some churches keep it since the apostolic era as the Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox Church (Today though they keep Saturday and Sunday, they also don't eat pork) and many others in northern Europe (That's prior to the influence of the Catholic Church)...as you can see there's a lot of Christians that keep the true Sabbath rest that God command us to keep in the Bible so don't be discourage, many will try to attack you in order to not keep it but we respond to God not to our fellow human beings.
My late dad always told me it's good to rest on Saturday so We will be prepared and ready to worship on Sunday ,we know that Jesus is our rest we rest with him every day,Until He returns to take us home to be with Him for eternity!! God-bless your family thanks for sharing!

Please read the whole message, even if you’ve been saved. First accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; confess that He suffered and died for your sins on the cross. Then start repenting of your sins because we all have sinned and transgressed God's laws. God loves us that much that He sacrificed His only begotten Son (John 3:16), Jesus Christ, and if we love Him then we shall keep His Commandments (John 14:15). Those that know God and love Him will keep His Commandments; those that still refuse to keep them while saying they love Him and Know Him, they are liars, and the truth is not in them (1John 2:4-5). Read the received texts like KJV and keep God's 10 Laws which includes Sabbath (resting from Friday Sunset until Saturday Sunset[7th day{Genesis 2:2-3}]). The Bible teaches that thee antichrist is the Papacy: The Bible clearly states what character traits the antichrist has and only the Papacy fits the mark; all the reformers including Martin Luther agree with this because they saw the character traits of the Papal Rome and it fit what the books of Daniel and Revelation were stating and this includes the whore of Babylon being the Vatican, and the whole world is drinking the wine [wine {grape juice}means doctrine in the Bible, but her wine is fermented wine like Sunday worship to cause spiritual confusion] of her fornication putting themselves in Babylon as well. The mark of the beast is Forced Sunday rest [The Papacy says that the mark of its authority is Sunday] & the banning of Sabbath [7th day] Rest. It takes courage to be in the army of Christ. The battle lines are drawn: you either choose God by keeping Sabbath or Satan by keeping Sunday. We will go through persecution and tribulation and Satan isn’t stupid, don’t underestimate Him; he can transform himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14): he won’t be coming in like some angel of darkness and his ministers of darkness will portray themselves as ministers of righteousness. Satan is showing all this evil to then come in as the good guy for you to join in unity in error-but you’ll think you’ll be worshipping God. Satan uses a lot of truth and mixes a little bit of error for your destruction. People will think they’re doing God’s work when they persecute God’s Sabbath keeping people (John 16:2). My brothers and sisters in Christ in the Catholic Church, those in Sunday keeping churches and for people that don’t know Jesus but are looking for the way, the life and truth-please come out of Babylon and repent of your sins before it's too late! But don't trust what I say; read and study the Bible to find out. I know what I said sounds harsh, I’m not trying to be, and I mean this with the upmost respect and kindness towards you and all of God’s beautiful creation of mankind-both in the body of Christ and outside the body of Christ. God bless! Sabbath day was not created for Israel: As God's people they needed to keep His Law's because God chose them. It was created before Israel and it's for all mankind who choose the True Living God, through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Us Christians call Jesus King, which He is: A King has laws for His kingdom; 10 Perfect Laws our God created, which includes Sabbath (A day He sanctified, so you can’t say there’s any day of the week to rest with God: The day He set is the seventh day), and are part of His character. So if you choose Sunday rest when it's enforced (Mark of the beast) by the Antichrist (Roman Catholic Papacy-read Daniel 2&7&8 and Revelation 13 for information on the antichrist and the core of Bible Prophecy to understand):you are then breaking our Kings’ Laws. Keeping and resting on Sabbath along with, if you can congregate, always will mean you are choosing God and His authority in your life. Choosing Sunday now, since it hasn't been enforced, means you're knowingly or unknowingly choosing Satan's authority. But many will say, well Paul and the others broke bread on the first day of the week... Yeah you should worship God everyday and break bread with your brothers and sisters in Christ every once in a while, but Sabbath is the day of rest, hallowed and sanctified by God: The Seal to His Laws. The whole Bible says basically if you love God then keep his Commandments. Jesus died on the cross (Grace and Pardon) because we have sinned (transgressed His Law's[1 John 3:4]). So it's all about God's laws and Jesus saving us from our sin (His Sacrifice to pardon us and to save us for the Transgression of Gods’ Laws). Oh and yes, we are free from the Mosaic & Ceremonial laws when He died on the cross, but not God's Laws (Ten Commandments are in Exodus Chapter 20): we still keep them. We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ: We keep Gods’ Laws as a consequence of being saved. Love you, God bless. The book of Daniel in the Old Testament is the key to truly understanding the Book of Revelation; make sure to remember that every day in prophecy equals a year (Ezekiel 4:6 & Numbers 14:34). Book of Revelation is a chiasmus {[Looks like this(\/)](\Historical&Eschatological/)}also; this information will help you to understand the makeup of the way Revelation is written, along with The Book of Daniel. It’s okay to hate me and I know I repeat myself a lot, that’s how important God wants you to know about keeping His Ten Laws including Sabbath, but please don’t hate the Truth- if it’s Truth, then it’s worth buying. I’m not better or wiser, I’m most pathetic, but because God cares about you and He is wanting seeds of truth to be in your heart for when you see the blatant truth of what really is going on, God shall be your growth and His Word a Lantern unto your feet in the spiritually dark world we live in. It is "every seventh day", with the days of the Roman Pantheon having zero relevance. As I see it, Christianity is to be a moral orientation, ever guiding us to a more perfect path, not just some "religion" we practice in order to obtain some sort of power in this world. As for those who say the Roman church corrupted the Sabbath, how do you reconcile that with the fact that the Bible was compiled by that same entity? We don't know for sure what scrolls Jesus read from in the synagogue, or if he was indeed educated by the Nazoreans, as some say. Remember, the Judaizers would ever seek to reduce the love of Christ to a set of vain rituals. We know what the Talmud says of Jesus, and that they pretend to be believers in order to deceive. Just look at some verses: ~Exodus 31:12-13 AMP 《 And the Lord said to Moses, “But as for you, say to the Israelites, ‘You shall most certainly observe My Sabbaths, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, so that you may know [without any doubt] and acknowledge that I am the Lord who sanctifies you and sets you apart [for Myself]. 》 ~Exodus 31:17 AMP 《 It is a sign between Me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He ceased and was refreshed.” 》 But off course, we can hold the Sabbath on Saturday, like the Jewish people do, we just shouldn't judge people with different opinions, if we hold the Sabbath day or not.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: - Exodus 20:8-10 It is okay for us to heal someone, like someone is hurt, and you do first aid..it is okay for us pluck a fruit on a tree as long as it is not work..like you just pluck a fruit near your church or where you spend your Sabbath..but when you pluck many fruits because it is your work and someone will pay you, then we don't do that. Please read the book Sabbath to Lord’s day great book on this subject. From Christian writings we can see that Christians replaced the sabbath with the lord’s day I.e Sunday by 95 A.D as can be seen in the Didache “And on the Lord’s own day gather yourselves together and break bread and give thanks, first confessing your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure”

@@elis7281 Is it okay then for us to worship other gods? Is it okay to take the Lord's name in vain? Is it okay to have idols? Is it okay to commit adultery? Or to bear false witness? Or covet our neighbors goods, or wife? Is it okay to dishonor our parents? The Sabbath commandment was smack dab in the middle of the Ten Commandments that most of the Christian world wants to do away with saying the Law has been abolished. The Sabbath commandment states who God is (the Creator), what he's the creator of (the sun, moon, stars, man and animals--i.e. the earth and everything living in it.) and is his seal. Why would anyone want to say the law has been done away? It was the law of Moses, the commandments contained in ordinances that was nailed to the cross. That's why the veil in the temple was ripped from the top to the bottom when Christ died, signifying that those laws (of Moses) had been fulfilled in Christ, our sacrifice. Those laws pointed to the work of our Saviour, our Passover lamb, and he completed his roll as prophet when he died on the cross. He is now in heaven doing the work of our high priest, atoning for our sins, and very soon he will return in the clouds to gather his followers together to take us to heaven as our king. It is all by grace that we are saved, but he has said "If you love me, keep my commandments" and "1Jn_5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." So now can you explain what the silly rules are? Thanks, and may the Lord help your eyes to be opened to the truth. It is vital that we understand this issue.

Even Jesus and his disciples were accused of breaking the Sabbath by walking through the fields and plucking and eating the corn, and Jesus healed on the Sabbath. You're family is a light for other families. I too was raised in Sunday churches for many years until my husband and I married about 18 years ago. There is nowhere in scripture that says Sunday is the day of rest. When you think of Saturday for most, everyone is running to and fro, busy shopping, etc. God had a perfect plan when he created in six days and saw that it was good. So it makes sense we honor him on the Sabbath he created for man. He is Lord of the Sabbath. God bless you and your family as you continue your ministry and walk with the Lord! Not true. If you are a sabbath keeper you have to keep it completely. No born again Christian is under the law. If you do any work whatsoever you are breaking it.

Also, We keep the sabbath because Jesus tells us to keep the commandments, which the sabbath commandment is the fourth. We are all born again Christians and we are all under the new covenant saved only by grace, but we still must obey God, because we love him! "If you love me keep my commandments."

One does not cancel out the other, Gods grace and law are in perfect harmony with eachother. @@stanleyhughes1155 if you study Romans you see that a believer is now dead to the law. The law is still in effect for those under it. Once you come to Christ we are no longer under it. You need to rightly divide the word. It’s fairly easy once you see it.

I am a Jewish believer, and as one, i looked at Christians who "kept" the Shabbat I became confused...for they keep the Shabbat not as Jewish people keep it...but then I came to conclusion, KEEP the Shabbat, for it is a Law of God in the Ten Commandments, but in GRACE... That means NO work. Prepare food on the preparation day, Friday, and just REST on Shabbat...SIT, CONVERSE, EAT, ENJOY, TAKE A STROLL, PRAISE GOD, WORSHIP GOD AND JUST ENJOY HIS CREATION...BE BUSY WITH GOD AND HIS CREATION...
We do exactly that. We cook on preparation day, Friday, and do no work from sunset on Friday until sunset on Saturday. We choose to spend the entire day in church, it is very helpful especially with keeping the little ones engaged, and the adults do bible study and learn about all sorts of things.
As a Sabbath-keeper I spend time formally worshiping God and fellowshipping with others but also in nature. We do prepare food before Sabbath and gas up and all and keep conversations as we fellowship spiritual not about business etc. Visiting the sick, reading the Bible, singing songs, sharing testimonies, play Bible games, involving the younger people and children in afternoon worship or sundown vespers and encouraging each other in the Lord.
@@baphithi - Except, we are keeping the Sabbath wrong, too. Christ did not attend synagogue all day. He went to church to read and hear God’s word, but then went about doing good for others on the Sabbath. He healed the sick and preached to the people. Christ Jesus performed many of His miraculous healings on the Sabbath. Therefore, we are to REST from our personal labors, but not from the laborer in God’s vineyard. I remember when I was young, we children would go door to door and leave pamphlets with people and we would go to nursing homes to sing to the residents. We should have done much more. Jesus is waiting on us to do the works that He did on the Sabbath. It is not just a day to go to worship God, and the rest is a veg out day, nor is it a day to go to church all day. It is a day to proclaim the 3 Angel’s messages of Rev 14 to a lost and dying world. We are to preach the ‘everlasting’ Gospel - the whole Apostolic truth that Christ taught His disciples.
