@@ectospassmta8493 He has support moves but the way they made it sound is if he is like some random healer from any other JRPG when Ness has incredible physical power and skill and has some of the strongest offensive moves in the game. Of course he has a lot of support skills but to pretend he is strictly support is not correct. Like you don’t even need the same moveset from Smash to make him a powerful offensive force

​@@ectospassmta8493Robin is a support character in Fire Emblem Awakening and Heroes, but he's also one of it's most powerful and capable fighters in-universe. Shulk is the same in Xenoblade 1, but he was extremely good at combat too.

​@@ectospassmta8493he still has a lot of good offensive options if we talk earthbound specifically. Whether itd be his raw physical strength or pk flash and rockin. And if we use smash bros lore where learns new psi attack like fire, freeze, thunder, and starstorm than yeah i think he is pretty wrll combat orientated.

I bet they’d composite Ness anyway, both EarthBound and Smash Bros versions. Ness has potential. Dunno the community’s feelings on the matchup, but what about Ness VS Raz from Psychonauts?

I like Greninja vs Venoct from Yokai Watch since it’s literally two ninja themed pocket monsters, what more could you ask for?

With the Super Shield, he was able to defeat Metal Overlord with Sonic and Tails, who had copied the powers of not just Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy, but also Shadow and Chaos. The next major fight that Super Sonic would win, besides the fights in space with Eggman, would be against Solaris, the higher dimensional being that Eggman said (in the same sentence as calling it higher dimensional) "eats dimensions for breakfast" (implying that Eggman was referring to specifically dimensions as in 3D, 4D, 5D etc), suggesting that it transcends all higher dimensions. So Super Sonic was almost at that level in Heroes, Metal Overlord copied that power, and Knuckles was vital to defeating Metal Overlord.

@epiccarrot88 Metal Sonic copies abilities, he doesn't literally gain however much power they have. And there's no reason to assume Eggman is talking about higher spacial dimensions and not universes when nothing like that it shown or explained. Also Archie Sonic scales to or above characters capable of destroying the infinite multiverse and more. This is all stretching to sound more impressive than it is.

@@ectospassmta8493 No, Metal Sonic "copies data". And he specifically said he copied *all* data from them. If you can find me a way that someone's data doesn't include power, then sure. But the evidence from the game, and how Metal scales in power and durability the more he scans, suggests that yes, he copied their power levels. In the very statement that Eggman says Solaris eats dimensions for lunch, he says that Solaris is extra dimensional. The context of the statement suggests that it's specifically referring to spatial dimensions. Again, you'd have to take the statement out-of-context to have any doubt to what Eggman refers to. Also, Solaris didn't just destroy the infinite multiverse of dreams, but *everything*. All timelines, all multiverses, all special stages, all dimensions... everything. Solaris reaches omniversal levels, and Super Sonic beat it. And again, that was the next major fight after Metal Overlord, who copied Super Sonic's power levels. The fact Super Shield Knuckles didn't get instantly destroyed by Metal Overlord shows that Knuckles must scale to that durability, and being able to harm Metal Overlord shows that Knuckles must scale to that strength.

At least Giorno is also incredibly bullsh*t so the matchup works in my opinion

Orihimie does not make for very interesting fights even in Bleach. Rukia also plays a much more similar role to what Sakura does not only relative to Naruto but in the story, and has a far more interesting arsenal for a fight

I think Sakura vs Nami makes more thematic sense than any bleach match up Sakura has, the only issue (if it bothers you or not) is that Sakura wins pretty easily. But I personally don't mind that there's not much debate to be had here.

Who said Sakura vs Rukia would be close? I just think it's fun. Also Yoshimitsu is canonically a different character between Soul Calibur and Tekken, one is a descendant of the other. That's like treating you and your great grandpa as the same guy.

@@ectospassmta8493 well they were putting Sakura up, brought up rukia as the opponent (funny enough rukia is better for Sasuke and Renji is good for Sakura connections wise) and they said something about bleach losing three times to the same franchise, implying Sakura wins which is just ridiculous. And there are atleast three Yoshimitsu's in soul calibur alone. All would be composited into one in death battle. Plus yoshimitsu is my SC main and getting anything SC into death battle is great. Is the yoshimitsu in Tekken the same person every game? And Tekken 8 Yoshi is already a good mix of the two, plus it probably won't change the results much
