how well does it work with premiere. my rode mics I'm always having to change the audio channels b/c its only coming into one side if I had both mics on.

I've been using the 1st version DJI mics for weddings the last 2 years and they've saved my ass so many times. The versatility the size and internal recording give you is a really big deal.

this hat looks better. 2:19 does this have settings for the sony A1 ? this setup with a iphone 15 pro max, Sony A1 and osmo pocket3 sounds amazing. dont have the pocket3 yet, you like it ?

A couple of VERY important details not mentioned in this video, that is important for certain use cases: I got the DJI mic 2 the day it came out and have made a couple of videos about it and things to be aware of: 1. 32 bit float is *only* for the internal backup recording *on* the microphone unit/transmitter itself. On camera or phone it’s stored as 24 bit audio. 2. Bluetooth Audio quality when directly connected to phone (iPhone) is *bad*. The mic uses a low quality bluetooth codec for transmitting audio via bluetooth to phone, so the audio is crusty and low quality. Do *not* get only the mic for this usage. Also: if using an iphone and using the stock apple video app it doesn’t record audio from the mic. You *have* to use a third party app like Blackmagic Camera app. 3. When using bluetooth connection to iPhone the *internal* recording feature on the DJI microphone unit is *disabled* - so what *could* have saved the low quality Bluetooth audio (using the internal 32 bit float recording and sync it in post) is not possible, since it can’t do internal recordings when using BT to phone (with osmo 4 and pocket 3 internal recordings works, and audio recording is better quality). Now this *might* sound very negative, but all in all it’s a good system, especially after the latest firmware update that brightened the sound a lot directly out of the mic and added some more presence in the bass area, but for some use cases, like just getting the mic unit for using with a phone without the receiver it’s just not a good option, or at least something to be aware of before buying, since *a lot* of people have commented on my videos about this not being what they expected.

@@BrandonMeves Thanks :) I’ve been testing it *thoroughly*, and the initial marketing/influencer videos «glossed over» or forgot some pretty important limitations that wasn’t communicated clearly at launch, some of it stuffed down in footnotes at the bottom of the product page, which is why I made my initial video just 1 day after purchasing - turned out I was not the only one who was looking for more indepth info :)

Some users of the DJI mic 2 have lost the sound from mic out to camera. Only the headphones out works. I have also problems getting connection to Action 4 with bluetooth. So not convinced..

One thing I can say as a drummer who has his own studio & who is also a producer the dji sounds brittle on the top end compared to the rode mic equivalent
