i dont think it's as toxic as people are making it out to be. maybe she just didn't want to match with her friend and her mom was probably helping her. just because the dress is stunning, doesn't mean everybody like it. people have preferences ya know.

idk why friends don't let other friends wear a nice colour just cuz they're wearing it. I mean cmon! Me and my friend would be happy we are matching!!! And it's not like other people at prom won't be wearing that colour too

nah the cobalt didn't look good on her either. also i can't think of a school that would allow thigh slits that are at crotch level like the green and baby blue. this is an ad.
@@yelanchiba8818 It's really not. Most girls and women aren't like that. It's more of an immaturity and insecurity thing. That being said, we don't know that the friend thinks she "owns" the color. We have no context, so all anyone can do is jump to conclusions. No point in doing that.

She is absolutely gorgeous but that is NOT how a model walks lol her arms are so stiff and the walk is just..she looks like she’s grocery shopping or at the mall. it’s not a model walk. and that’s okay! shes not a model. I’m sure she could be though if she trained.
Why hate it? You can't let a girl not want to match? I feel like when two dresses are the same color but different cuts and everything, it just looks awkward in pictures. Also, some people might just want to have one day where they don't match with their friend.
The black is gorgeous but i think it would look nice strapless or with thin straps so basically i agree with the original girl 😅 but still very pretty 💜
Truly, i will never understand the need to wear overly revealing and practically skintight clothing. It's not like you can dance in that very easily, all the partys and or ball's that i've been to like a fifth of the people there spend half the time complaing about how they can't move very easily. (Prom is like a dance/ball, right? I'm not in a country that has prom and i live under a massive rock when it comes to this sort of thing).
@LemonyMeadows I have personally always thought that being comfortable is more important and in my PERSONAL opinion most modest clothing i think looks better, i'm aware though that all people have their own opinions of pretty so fair. My main point was more about how the people i met then complain about how they themselves are dressed, i personally have no problem with how 'revealing' someone may dress, i only wish people would choose to wear something they are comfortable in.
Some people don’t even realise the one wearing the dress is the WORKER not the person who wanted to buy it. Some people don’t look good in specific colours and that’s why they or someone else didn’t like it.

Yeah, I personally don't see the problem as a dude. If you happen to have the same dress sense it's more of a sign of being in tune with each other than a competition thing. You all gain +1 WIS

I actually tried the third dress when I went shopping for my prom dress! I actually liked the one shoulder, and is pretty much the only detail lacking from the dress I actually bought. I can understand it not being everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s a truly gorgeous dress.
