guys you need to read the effects more carefully, because in the first game the ahrima effect actually said "add 1 DARK monster with DEF 2000 or more from the Deck to your hand", but jen added a breaker which had 1000 deff. try not to generalize that some effect because it simillar like sangan etc. i think that surely will eihter change the result or extend the game 1 XD

Slifers summoning animation against yami bakura is one of the best in the whole series ❤

Personal preference is slifer, but most iconic god moment goes to Obelisk being summoned in Dark Side of Dimensions.

I prefer Slifer, The art of a red sky dragon is dope. Obelisk may have some great effects but we are talking about a two mouth god sky red dragon.

Can someone explain to me why obilisk was Tributed in the first duel? Cus it says tribute a dark monster but obilisk is a divine attribute?

Obelisk is best for the pure reason it has some protection. It also had that sweet animation in Battle City where Kaiba used it to smash through Mirror Force and destroy those two Rare Hunters.

ahrima should add a monster with 2000 or more def. And it cannot tribute face down monsters, as they are not affected by field spell and are not dark monsters Also, Slifer all day!

I demand a Ra structure deck >:( (and also Legendary Duelists sets with Ghost rare Slifer and Obelisk). I just wish the God cards actually lived up to their name value....they are supposed to be the strongest cards in the yugioh universe, but in reality, they are just a large fried chicken, a red eel and a blue statue that can get destroyed by a single Man Eater Bug. That's just so sad.

Gotta go with slifer. BUT obelisk holds a special place in my heart for being in a stall deck i use to play with friends with. Back before the gods were released as legal cards we would play the collectors ones and use show rules. The stall deck was a unity otk strat. Goal was to stack field as many 2k+ def mons on field summon obelisk in defense wait for them to attack over one of my smaller monsters and then spring my trap play quick spell unity (combines all defense on field onto 1 monster) so i pick the monster youre attacking boost its def to 10-12k and watch you take yourself out. Didnt work all the time thats why i played final countdown and last turn as ways to win outside the fun otk.

Great duels but Slifer is my favorite. Followed by Obelisk Ra was always overrated too me. Too run Slifer though you should have a deck built around it.

Obelisk is my favorite Egyptian god. And I believe that the Master duels would have been better to see because anything could happen in master duels then live duels but alsome video as always you two 😋😎👍.

Slifer is cooler but Obelisk, in a vacuum, is objectively the better card. And ofc both aren't good.
