Which Epcot Country is the BEST? We're Ranking the World Showcase Pavilions! 

I would add shopping as a category for world showcase. It's part of the experience to buy things you can't buy in the US normally.

I think they should do a tangled themed boat ride attraction in the unused area of the Germany pavilion

Coming into France on the Skyliner at the International Gateway for rope drop on a beautiful morning for my first Epcot visit made my jaw drop. The music, the landscaping was perfect. We Lightning Laned Remi, got breakfast--raspberry lime macaroons, creme brulee and a chocolate gnache dome cake from Les Halles. We met Belle with no wait, and then my husband brought me a flute of vintage champagne. The perfect morning! Viva la France!

Honestly, the fact that out of ALLLLL the movies set in England, they haven’t created some sort of attraction is a crime!! Mary Poppins, 101 Dalmatians, Great Mouse Detective, Robin Hood, the list goes on and on!

Not gonna lie, Sage’s “FRAANCE!” caught me off guard and made me crack up 😂 38:07

I have been to Morrocco and the Pavillion feels like I am in the old country Again. Lived in Germany and although it is a Mish mash of the country I still enjoy it. Also been to France and Canada and I feel like Disney did a great job

Unless the offerings has changed, Das Biergarten's food spread is very German. From memory I remember Sauerkraut, sweet and sour cabbage, all kinds of sausages, pork roast, spaetzle, apple crisp, among other offerings.

Japan definitely should have a 5 for food and bev. Sage forgot about Tokyo Dining, which means theres a drink kiosk, a dessert and more kiosk, a quick service, the snacks in Mitsukoshi, and 3 table-service restaurants with one of the most authentic dining experiences in Epcot at Takumi-Tei. Throw in the festival booth, and Japan has the most food and bev offerings in Epcot!

Oh yes I love the German tree Christmas tree the pickles is a good German tradition for Christmas my grandma from Hamburg to me she passed down to us grandkids we still do today

Surprised Canada is last same for Italy and China, Germany Karmel Kuche anyone and it is so cute

Being from the UK I think the pavilion could do with a makeover to have grander facades as there are much more iconic buildings here. There’s so many Disney IPs set in the UK that could be used for an attraction too.

I think you did Canada dirty. The bands that perform there are excellent and the quality of the food they do offer is great.

I like the Mexico theming but 5/5 is nuts. It’s literally one building, unlike other pavilions with multiple buildings and attractions spread out.

The one thing that REALLY sticks out for me with the China pavilion is the garden having plaques regarding the Chinese zodiac. I just get a kick out of that. (I'm a Year Of The Horse, BTW.)

As a Canadian, I fully agree... The Canada pavilion is horribly disappointing in its representation of our beautiful, diverse country.

Have you tried their pasghetti and meatballs? In Italy pavilion?

I easily agree with #1 for sure, and also the top 3. But dang Italy was done dirty on food and drink with a 2/5 when America got a 3/5 for a BBQ quick service and some kiosks? Italy has two table service (granted, never eaten at Tutto Italia, only the delicious Via Napoli), plus the wine bar (which I'm not naming cuz I like to keep that a secret hideaway!) which shares a kitchen with the restaurant - and all the cocktails and gelato? All good, this will help there be more space at the wine bar next time we go lol!

Everyone will have their own opinion. For me they rated The American Pavilion too high. Morocco too low. Italy too low. Both pavilions were more immersive to their countries than America.

Excellent vid but curious why popularity was a category? Popularity isn't an indication of quality. And anyway, the most popular pavilions are the ones that have attractions, which is already covered separately in your tally, so that is redundant isnt it?

My top 5 favorite pavillions would probably be Canada, France, Mexico, Japan, and the USA, but they're all great in their own unique ways!

While I agree with your rankings, I think Germany deserves a few more points just for the Grapefruit beer. It doesn’t really taste like beer and the bitterness is offset by a hint of sweetness. It’s so light and refreshing! It’s the perfect summer beer.

I really don't understand why jasmine and aladdin are based in morocco's? Morocco is an African country i thought aladdin was based in Arabia? 🤔 x

Note: My comments are based on wanting the original theming of Epcot to remain; INFORMATIONAL RE: France Agree with France #1, with a disclaimer: Sing along?!?? If kids want to sing along with a movie, put it in Hollywood Studios. For WDW to put that on for most of the day, and the wonderful movie "Impressions de France" only at night - is another example of the very bad decision-making disease to hit WDW leadership in the past 3-4 years. The movie is an excellent (and timeless) tour of France. What makes it even better is the unique montage of French classical music scored by a long-time Disney composer, Buddy Baker. It is the kind of movie that is both informational but relaxing due to the excellent photography and music. RE: Norway Frozen belongs in Hollywood Studios. The original ride was fun but very much themed around Norway. The 5-minute movie at the end added to that. Again, another example of very poor decision-making by WDW "leadership" (in quotes for emphasis). RE: Canada As you said, a beautiful pavilion who's movie USED to be very good. The Martin Short version was MUCH better than what they have now. Plus, another example of uniquie Disney music composition along with a beautiful and comprehensive tour of Canada. Yet ANOTHER example of a bad decision. RE: Lack of rides in other pavilions. Germany was to have included a river ride down the Rhine river. Japan was to have included Mt. Fuji with a ride. WDW wasted millions of dollars on Guardians of the Galaxy, a ride that did NOT belong in Epcot. They should have taken this money and updated at least Germany and possibly added movies to the other pavilions that did ot have an attraction. I welcome comments and thoughts on these subjects. Also, a great job on filming, narration, and production work on this video, well done! God Bless to all...

#1 is clear in World Showcase and is in within their own tier. France the best pavilion overall for sure!

The theme in the American pavilion is often overlooked as it is very "American" most visitors are American and therefore don't see it as anything special but considering the building, very casually referenced by Sage, is based on Independence Hall in Philadelphia where the founding fathers actually signed the Declaration of Independence it is a pretty significant building. I think the Morocco should bring in a Rick's Cafe American from Casablanca you know of "all the gins joints in the world, she had to walk in mine" fame.

I agree with most of these EXCEPT Italy. It has two wonderful restaurants and another small one in the bar plus the gelato deal. It should have scored much higher in food. Germany has a heat lamp buffet and some caramel candy and popcorn. It should have ranked lower in food. I also would have put Morocco second to the bottom. No attractions, one ok restaurant, and really nothing to do there.

I'm going to get on my soapbox. Shame on Disney for what they did to WS. It was originally a place with no IP where you could go and actually learn about the country and it's culture. The ride in Mexico was a ride through of Mexico, same with Norway. The movies, while maybe in need of update are a great source of education. The gardens in just about every pavilion are beautiful. And another shame on Disney, they took over the Morocco pavilion and it is a shell of it's former glory. None of the souks except one are open, the restaurant isn't open. Shame, shame, shame. You forgot to mention what I call the tile room in Morocco, which might be the best place in all of WDW to just go and sit and relax. It might be a statement to the collective attention span now in the world that we must be entertained with rides instead of just enjoying the culture of a country. I will now step down off my soap box. I will add, look up when you are in WS, there is some great detail in all the buildings. My son and I once sat outside of the Italy pavilion for a hour just looking at the detail and looking up what everything represented. Dare I say we both learned something.

I stopped watching as soon as they gave Italy’s food a 2/5.

I don't like the ranking videos. I want to keep believing everything is the best. They make me sad.

🤨 You guys way overhyped and ranked Morocco yet you gave Japan food a 4 when it clearly was a 5?... And theming a 4 as well?... They gave you castles, koi fish, relaxing bamboo fountains, and literal statues of tengu. And its popularity is 5. I'm starting to feel like y'all weren't qualified to judge accurately and you def let your bias take over in areas like Morocco.

China AND Japan, but not a single country in South America? FIVE European countries, but not a single country in Sub-Saharan Africa? An AMERICAN pavilion?!?!?! UK includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, which are distinct countries. Why not just call it the England Pavillion? The sad thing is that this is the most cross-cultural exposure that most Americans will ever get, and they're not even accurate.
