I remember the event when characters were given in the same way. I had XQ C5 and I could not decide whether to take the 6th one, because I could get him in the rolling... In the end, I chose c6 and did not regret it, because the next copy of XQ came to me only after 7 months
It took me a year and a half playing this game to have my first copy of Bennett lol . He always appeared in the banner that i skipped so i only do 1 or 2 10 pulls in those banner but no luck
To be honest, 0:39 of all the options in the screen, Zajef is the best IMO. Pretty solid choice, specially when it comes to meta. However, I'll choose Immortalized by Disturbed, a bit less meta but very motivating when it comes to playing the game or doing the abyss.
Pretty nice seeing people enjoy and be able to do abyss with off meta choices, i personally like Argentina as a first choice and France as the second option.
@@febbbm2002 indeed but he lacks signature supports like itto has albedo and gorou, but he alone can do one half of the abyss in 90 seconds, good enough for me

I was listening to you explain Beidou's ICD stuff at 13:30 and literally just thinking "i have no idea what he is saying" when the confused meme lady popped up on screen and I actually lol'd. Planning to grab Yelan and I'm one off of XQ's C6 so hopefully I pick up that last con while pulling for her so I can grab YaoYao from the selector. Everyone else is already C6.
Agreed, XQ really is the best unit in the game, over Bennett. He's so in demand that Yelan becomes a universally amazing pull because she's another Xingqiu. If the Hydro Archon tops them out when she comes out...
Tbh if the dendro archon isn't a universal pull it will feel like betray to me, xingqiu yelan ayato childe and kokomi are so versatile that she must have a lot of hydro app with also lot of healing/buffs instead of dps tbh, but it wont happen
@@JustSomeGuyWithAMug archons are always good (enough), so I wouldn't be too worried. So long as we keep our expectations reasonable I'm sure she'll be a good pull for any account
For sure, hydro is just so busted right now. Almost all good teams require hydro with the exception of spread/aggrevate and some okayish hyper carry teams (raiden/itto/xiao who all want some niche c6 4 star support). And xingqiu is just the best hydro character in almost all the teams besides freeze and international. Yelan being a generally worse version of xingqiu still makes her the second most broken unit in the game right now and the best 5* pull imo. I think were past the times of needing a second bennett, at this point we need a third xingqiu.
Yanfei was actually my main carry, had her with Bennet, Xingqiu and Yelan. The thing is, i realized eventually that she was being hard carried by those 3 absolute monsters. And i got Lost Prayer in the Standard Banner very early, so i made her my main carry. Honestly, now that i know a bit more about vaporise, i might bring her out again. Got decent stats on Crimson Witch and Wanderer Troupe to make her work. It will be her last time to shine before i get Hutao. But of the characters on this list, Yao Yao is the only one i want.
I find that Yan Fei makes a great driver for many strong off-field units. I have her in a team now with Nahida, Raiden, and Xing Xiu right now, but I’ve also used her with Fischl, Albedo, and more. Her range is beautiful, and even if she is the weakest on the team, she can trigger a variety of reactions at range, which is a great thing in itself. It’s a chaotic mess, and I love it. Still one of my stronger teams for all-out damage, competitive with my National team for single target, though with less healing, and the absolute best thing I have for taking out flying enemies.
Why not use Yanfei with Hu tao? My Hu tao team consists of Hu tao, Xingqiu, Kazuha/ Sucrose and Yanfei. Yanfei being at c4 and my shielder. Imo the best shield option for Hu tao if you use a virid user.
@@Strashky Dont have Hutao yet, but when i do im wondering who my 4th spot will belong to. Yelan and Xingqiu are garanteed to be her teammates, with Xingqiu as healer. Maybe she can double up as shield and resonance provider.
I'm surprised Zajef did not mention Yaoyao's c2 and c4. C2 being a pretty decent mitigator for her expensive burst and C4 being a nice buff for Nilou teams (making her gain EM based on her max HP). She can run full healer build and still get good bloom damage on the ones she owns. That said she probably doesn't need to run full HP since her healing will likely be enough on a hybrid HP/EM build. Overall I think she has very good constellations that open up new team synergies.
If only xynian burst damage actually scaled from defense she would actually be a decent shielder/burst dps/phys support and even battery if you consider the fact that you don't need any CRIT to proc fav if you have C2
I'd say that if her shield scaled off ATK% she'd be pretty okayge. Her ascension is ATK% and she has pretty comparatively high base ATK. It would also contribute to her general use because you can just go for damage and get a strong shield at the same time.

i started playing during the first lantern rite and i picked xingqiu just because i got chongyun and i wanted to play the buddies together. i had no clue xingqiu is s tier that time
For yunjin I want to shoot out a Noelle team. You already need a lot of geo particles anyway in those teams, so yunjin will need less ER on top of producing energy for noelle
i have c6 beidou and xingqiu and a c5 xiangling, others i either have at c6 or don't use so that leaves yao yao only not complaining, that is great. this comment isn't important but i like watching your videos so yeah.

meme builds with yinjin: xiao auto attack build, tbh it actually isnt bad since he has such high dmg % scaling. physical fischl, C1 oz hit counts as a normal attack and can get close to doubling her dmg, and also works with echoes, but physical meme... ningguang, with echoes the normals actually double proc if you get in ranges to cause them to hit at the same time, but charge dmg is still to hard to ignore. bow charge attack childe, for what ever reason they made this riptide flush(charge shot trigger) be normal attacks that hits upto 3x per charge, with echoes set, its possible to get 20k per tick on a 20% talent dmg skill. xiao's is like the only one that does enough to even think about in non meme cases
I upgraded my C2 Yun Jin to C6 and all the older characters are already C6, so I don't need to watch this video because Yaoyao is the only one I still haven't C6'd, but I like watching your videos.

Yao Yao banner has been nice and I've already got c2, so id either go for c4 Yanfei or Yao Yao. Still got more summoning for Alhaithem to go for, so hopefully more Yao Yao too.
I bought Xiangling C2 from the shop and I'll get her c3 just to get closer to c4. Honestly, playing International with Childe with a 10 sec burst is a nightmare. Xingqiu is just c2... I already have Yelan and don't mind Hu Tao. I'll do just 20 pulls on Yelan, I'm at 4 pity and I already got a early Alhaitham, hope to not take Yelan's c1 but anyway, I don't mind. Hope to get a c0 beidou too lol
I think people still underrate Beidou with dendro, I mean, the best hyperbloom team is with Raiden, who don’t heal the party as Kuki, so the fourth best slot is Yelan. However, you just get Xingqiu’s swords as the only way of survability, but Beidou, thanks to the synergy with Xingqiu’s swords, gets a lot of value being the second best fourth slot if we’re talking about damage, and the first if we’re talking about survability, and she’s a 4*, and not everyone have Yelan…

Imaging i got Xinque C6 (then Barbara c6) only Gydro character on my account for about 10 months (Candice c0 not worth it)... So he is doble crowned as you might guess. And still the highest damage crit made by XQ.
For someone that has stuff like Kokomi, Nahida and all the other liyue 4*s at C6, would C0 Yaoyao matter or just get Yunjin to C2 for when I eventually get Yoimiya? I literally have every single other 4* at C6 except Chongus who is like C4, and all but Xinyan already built and leveled…

hey man! great content lately :) i've got a few questions about teams with alhaitham.. what do you like more, xingqiu or yelan with him? does xingqiu apply to much hydro so you rarely spread with him? what about double hydro al and kuki/raiden? does it turn him into an dendro applier only without real benefits to build him dmg so just use fav sword for ER needs and basicly just use him as a driver without self dmg? i hope you get my point ;o
C4 Xingqiu it is then. I was deciding between Yaoyao and him, but even though Yaoyao is all new and shiny, I don't need another dendro char right now and can wait till I get her naturally through wishing.
16:50 "Her damage goes down, effectively." Wouldn't it be more correct to say her damage doesn't go up? There is a lot of misunderstanding surrounding additive damage transfer mechanic used by Shenhe and Yunjin and it's basically down to the fact that this part of their buff is additive and not multiplicative which means it cannot be controlled by power budget of the target unit. It's effectively Shenhe and Yunjin's damage, only it's fulfilled by other units. Quicken is much the same, only it's limited by ICD which is character-specific, so they can budget for it by messing with ICD itself (see Collei, Dori). It's not that the damage goes down, it's that it doesn't scale in AOE. Important distinction.
Your point about Yun Jin and Ayato makes zero sense. She has a trigger quota that’s supposed to be used up but it’s suddenly a downside when you hit multiple enemies and use your quota trigger? That’a literally what she’s there for.
I believe the idea is that, in certain scenarios, Ayato can hit that trigger very quickly and thus the remainder of his hits are unbuffed, so Yunjin's on CD without providing anything more until you fill her burst and/or it's off cooldown again. Other units, such as Xingqiu, could be used instead and either give Ayato a more consistent buff over his entire duration, or provide more to the team's damage than Yunjin does in those 30 hits.
Against +4 enemies any electro or dendro is a better option than yunyin Against singletarget xingqiu is the better option Only against 2/3 heavy type enemies ayato with yunyin is good
@@poplo9094 but that implies that there’s a downside to finishing Yun Jin’s trigger quota faster which is false. If she provides 1200% (just a random number) MV worth of quota then that’s how much you get regardless of if you do 30 hits on one enemy for all 1200% 15 hits each on 2 enemies for 600% each or you hit 30 enemies for a single time for 40% each. Like there’s never a scenario where you trigger all 30 hits on any amount of enemies and it doesn’t end up being the MV you’re supposed to get.
@@Daniele-PierreDuLac It kind of just means that Yunjin doesn’t scale well in aoe. XQ on the other hand batteries Ayato, whose burst is aoe. So both are single target orientated, but XQ is hydro, so both his and Ayato’s ER reqs are lower, allowing more damage stats.

If you really need a geo dps - go for Ning. If you want to go for Shenhe and you need a good cryo reverse-melt team - go for Chongyun. Or if you want to play in national team, get his C2.

Yao Yao is more than enough as a solo healer for Nilou teams. As of now, I've been really enjoying Burst Ayato with Deepwood, Nilou, Nahida, Yao Yao rotations. Nukes the abyss super quickly.
I got C0 Yaoyao already, but I'm done pulling til Yelan. I know Xingqui (C0) & Beidou (C2) are on her banner as well, so I'll probably go for Xinqui to get C1 and then hope for multiple copies on Yelans banner.
I was listening peacefully until he said CAs for Wanderer. Bro if you have C6 Yunjin and even just his own desert pavilion set, you can start spamming NAs with Wanderer. Why can't EN TC accept that MVs on paper are not everything??
And i thought Xinqu is best used with Sacrifcial and not Favonius. I would think reseting his skil, with a 80% chance,l for an aditional 4 Hydro Particels and his aoe skill damage again is better then crit-rate change of two aditional neutral particals.
For me, Every choices except for 3 characters are already C6. My Yanfei is C5, Yunjin is C5 and Yaoyao is C1. IDK if I should go for Yunjin C6 for Yoimiya, or Yaoyao C2 to make her gain energy easier.
Another Yanfei main here -- can confirm, her C6 is a huge boost. It unlocks 4 scarlet seals instead of 3, which increases her charged attack damage and greatly decreases her stamina consumption, which can also be useful when sprinting to reposition yourself out of harm's way after her C4 shield expires. (although I play Yoimiya too and would _love_ a C6 Yunjin for that attack speed boost 😍) Tough decision honestly 😭
@Math66 Sounds like a plan! I guess my take was mostly in response to Card, but I'm glad you also have Yanfei at C6+! And with Yaoyao being a new character, there's always the perk of getting 3 blue wishes from leveling her up :D
Good news to me 2 days ago i just got Xiao weapons and Xingqiu and also The Widsith Catalyst. I thought i need Xingqiu at same time I need Yao Yao i never thought that i got Xingqiu on weapons banner. Sorry if my Inggeris bad. 😅
Threw the watch your way even though I'm just going to choose Yaoyao. All the rest are C6 on my account. And I don't care that Xinyan is the worst of these, I have her built better than any of them.
I'm choosing between XL or Yaoyao c1. My XL is only at c3 and I know that c4 is her best cons but I was thinking of getting her in shop since I have 50+ star glitters but there's Fischl who I also want since she's only c2. C1 Yao yao looks like be good with Alhaitham for that Dendro bonus but! getting DMC to c6 and use him for Al instead looks more promising. So yeah not sure which of the two should I get. PS I already have c6 XQ.
