@@joshuajackson5203 It's possible as a F2P if you dump your polychromes into the standard banner. It's not recommended, of course, because getting limited characters tend to be better investments but if you're really aiming for that one character you really like, then go for it - I personally did it for Lycaon, I got Soldier 11 on my newbie banner and dumped the rest of my polychromes into the standard banner and got a pity Lycaon (kind of lucked out there because I could have gotten anyone else). Also, potentially, if you lose your 50/50 on the limited banner, you'll get one of the six from the standard banner, so again, not really recommended to dump polychromes into the standard banner.
@@Than211 Yeah that's where i was coming from i was under the impression everyone was saving poly for limited. As it would be a dumb idea to dump it in the regular banner cause you'll get those anyway. That's why i was so surprised like what? already? They don't give us that many free standard banner pulls.
Rina is the only one with good future proofing. All the others are either mid, powercrept or about to be powercrept. But really, just choose your favorite. At the end of the day its better to sweat hard with someone you like than with someone you hate.
@joshuajackson5203 yeah considering how rare ice Agents are, Lycaon and Soukaku is especially good to have for the future. If you missed Ellen, Miyabi is coming up soon assuming she's Still Ice element Bare I mind that Ice is a VERY common weakness in stuff like Shiyu Defense, so it shouldn't be neglected
@@joshuajackson5203 Lycaon also gives ice dmg bonuses and a dmg multiplier when you stun enemies. However I'm pretty sure the devs will try to do something different with miyabi as to not powercreep ellen :/
You can't really make this video without discussing mindscapes. Rina's M1 is insane in that it makes her dolls stay on field for a bit longer, making her extremely much more relaxed in playstyle.
I went into this video expecting mostly mindscapes being discussed tbh. Getting a new M0 seems like such bad value given how prone mainbanner units are to being powercreeped. Ranking up a mindscape on an agent you're already using successfully seems like a way better investment. Especially if they're as good as Rinas M1, which is also what I have in my sight if I don't lose a 50/50 to her soon.
Rina was one of my first standard banner S ranks, and I hear you! You're making a lot of sense! However counterpoint: I am down bad for Grace and if I dont pull her in the 60 pulls, she WILL be coming home to me via the selector
100% agree. I'm a veteran Genshin player, and support always are the last one to powercreeped (some of them still are the best). I think that Reina is the best one on long term, because her mindscape are really good
Rina will be really good in the future if u notice the content we getting having stun units will soon be pointless since most of the enemies break out of stun so fast so someone like Nicole with defense down or Rina with defense ignore will eventually be better then stunning someone for them to be out of stun in seconds
Those are just specific modifiers. They could just as well introduce modifiers that nerf anomaly or buff stun. Hoyo does this to buff the limited agents in the current patch to make them seem stronger, so more people pay for pulls. There's already anomaly immune enemies in the game afaik. Stunners will not be useless. They're not going to delete an entire role.
This is why I pulled Caesar. I don't pull stun characters so If I'm going to bother with impact might aswell be a unit generic enough for most comps, gives decent amount of impact, and super armor.

Maybe I'm wrong, but just for the character I'd prefer solder 11. I really enjoyed her personal story and she seems one of the most interesting persons in zzz for me. Plus she's the only one of her faction so far... Quite an investment in long term building)
According to current leaks and projections, unless mihoyo does something crazy like give Miyabi an element swap to fire, Soldier 11 currently has no competition in slot throughout 1.6, assuming the Leaked Idol faction is after Miyabi which seems highly likely. So Soldier 11 should be a more valuable pick than say Grace as the only onfield fire dps we have for the next 4 to 5 months.
Soldier 11 is definitely not a great choice unless you have skipped Ellen, ZY and Jane!! Her playstyle is clunky and not many players will find her comfortable to play. And if it's the fire element you are concerned about Lucy can fit that role very nicely and you get her for free now. She may not be geared to be main dps but she can provide good cover. If you have Lycaon, Rina, Koleda, then I would pick Soldier 11. It's not that Koleda is a better unit mind you but stunners are very limited in numbers so her value overshadows a dps like s11 who's not meta defining or even close to their dps and has a gimmick that might not be for everyone.
You have to keep in mind though, to get full use out of Soldier 11, you have to pair her with another fire element because no one else from her faction exists yet; that means that unless you plan to use Lucy, Ben, Koleda or Burnice, you might not want to get Soldier 11. That said though, luckily both Ben and Lucy are actually quite good and works well with Soldier 11 and they should be easy enough to get. However, I don't see much reason to want to use Soldier 11 unless you just like her because you don't NEED a fire DPS for anything really and timing her swings can really put a hamper on her DPS because you might mistime it or unless you pair her with Caesar for her uninterruptible shield, interrupting Soldier 11's basic combo (because of dodging or getting hit) is going to really hurt her DPS.
@@Untiliamgone That's the problem with these hypotheticals, depending on who you have and who you intend to get, the value changes drastically. However, in the vacuum of what's been released and what's confirmed coming, aside Rina who is the obvious best pick, Soldier 11 is the only other character without any competition in slot, all the fire characters released or being released that we know of, have kits that support the on field and Soldier 11 is the only on field focused fire unit for the next 4+ months that we know of. As for the others, Lycaon is an obvious better pick if you have Ellen or are a rabid Miyabi fan, but less so if you have Qingyi or intend to get Lighter. Grace maybe if you intend to skip Yanagi or already have Rina for the best mono electric team builds. Koleda might be a good pick if you already have Soldier 11 or didn't pick up Qingyi and want a second stunner but Lycaon is usually a better pick. Nekomata would seem to be the least worthwhile as a c6 Corin or Billy can easily fill her roll, so she would basically require her weapon and maybe even her c1 to be bothered with.
@@DaedLizrad But that's the thing mate, EVERYONE knows that Miyabi is going to slap so they are either saving for her or planning to pay to get her. Ice element is going to exponentially rise in value so you really do want to be rdy Lycaon built and rdy to support Miyabi. And he's an OP stunner in general so he's naturally THE BEST pick of them all. If you belong to the 5% that is skipping Miyabi for whatever reason then Lycaon is STILL your probable best option due to his exceptional stunning ability and then Rina is the only sensible 2nd choice as she gives you versatility and is also in line with the meta shift (Yanagi coming out). You need to stop thinking strictly with the elements and consider the character's kit and role. Grace is just mid mate.. She needs great investment to work, doesn't have absolutely slapping teams in the meta and doesn't work well with the latest limited anomaly characters. Although I want to like her cause she looks hot af, her kit demands a field presence and her dps numbers do not justify that presence. Koleda is for the reasons I said: stunner = win. Any stunner is a good addition to a great number of teams, meta only just started shifting towards anomaly main teams but even those can do with a stunner. And it's not a matter of getting Burnice to boost soldier 11 because it's like getting the most premium oil to boost a Datsun. It's a Datsun... It's not going to run too fast anwy, why use premium on it? She's clunky, fire element content is easily clear-able with other elements, and the fire anomaly variants are simply better dps wise. She is a BAD recommendation to choose for your free standard only better than Nekomata. Unless you have everyone and even then I would consider a cinema scape for one of your existing characters.
@@Untiliamgone Okay so I'm confused, I've already said that Rina and Lycaon are better, my Argument was Soldier 11 was 3rd place... she's for sure the better pick over Neko and Grace, which it sounds like you agree with, and if you're needing Koleda as a stunner I'm wondering what for, her best teams were Lucy and Piper(which prefers Caesar or Burnice in her slot) or Lucy and Soldier 11.
Neko is so interesting to me, at first i felt like hmm i wouldn't really need a physical DPS, I have Corin 😎 But after getting Jane, they feel really similar. Jane just feels like a better, more versatile, and more consistent Neko. Their EX specials even feel similar lol, but Jane doesn't have randomness in her kit. So of the standard cast right now, Neko is the only character I think I just genuinely wouldn't ever use lol. That said I've no Lycaon, but I pulled two of his weapon! Lmao. So I guess the game is encouraging me to pick him. With Corin being my favorite character I guess the VH synergy works haha

I think a case can be made for S11, because although its true that as a DPS powercreep is very likely in the near future, we don't actually have anyone from her faction right now. Mihoyo could eventually introduce her companions and bring her back into meta, so if you like her desing or playstyle i think its no that bad to get her for free
I have all S rank except Koleda, Soldier 11, and Nekomata I’m kinda tempted to just get another lycoan copy instead of one of the other 3 I don’t have… I have Ellen, and with Miyabi and the Ice Support coming up Ice seems like a solid element
I am in an interesting spot. My current S-ranks from the stable chanel are Lycaon and Nekomata (I know, i got both furries). Was stuck between Soldier 11 (due to no good fire teams) and Grace (Elec Anom sounds really good). This video was super helpful. Thanks
i lucked out and got grace a couple days after game came out. she's been one of my strongest characters, but apparently i've been using her wrong the entire time
Leak**-Just go and get soldier 11 because her partner Trigger have double additional abilities in which one of them is partner with soldier 11 in her team will makes Trigger more op just like Koleda with Ben, although it is just an optional 2nd ability. That is. But it is subject to change. Also for upgraded S rank Anby in future.
Chose Lycaon, don't regret it at all. Yes, I am 100% F2P, just a massive grinder. Already had Koleda, Rina, Nekomata, and Jane though. I was lucky with standard banner pulls.
Trying to decide between Rina and Lycaon. I've somehow already gotten Grace, S11, and Neko along the way. Koleda is the least attractive option to me since I have Ben and Caesar filling for a similar role as her. I'm leaning slightly towards Lycaon because I have his Sig W-engine and I plan to get Miyabi down the line but Rina is also a really good option and a very high mobility character which can be good for running Commission levels.
I picked Rina because she can act as a bridge between most of my teams (cunning hares, belobog and victoria), her agent story was nice and I like her as a character. I'm severly lacking in terms of 5* dps but I just don't like S11's character + gameplay and everything about nekomata. But my 4*'s are rng blessed. I wish I could get grace in the future now that I understand anomaly better but that's for future rng to decide. Mihoyo give us 5* dps Big Daddy and I'll buy the battlepass, calander stuff and some bundles. You have an untapped fanbase that wishes you'd give the mini-skirtted, high-heels, pale-skin, same-faced girls a break
The permanent banner is going in domino effect. Got lycaon 1st then soldier 11,this means nekomata is next i get before the guaranted pull. Rina or Grace is the one i pick in 300 pulls
It seems that I already got the 3 main priority xD. I'll either choose s11 or koleda just to have more fire characters for those missions with fire weaknesses. I'm already planing to do jane doe, koleda (if I stick with her) and ben.
Making my Elen and in the Future, my Miyabi, super optimized Lycaon is a no brainer. Rina is the close second choice but at the moment her pen buff is not super utilised well. If you have Lycaon then nobody else come close to Rina.
I choose Rina since Grace was my first S unit which solidified me me play electric anomaly. Pen buff feels a bit underpowered to run her on non electric team comps so hopefully we get some disc or w-engine to change that. I also pulled Ellen/Jane/Caesar. Caesar feels like she almost makes a better stun unit with with her impact and buffs that I can just skip Lycaon for my Ice team so No regrets passing him up, but we will see when it comes to Miyabi & Section 6 pulls if I made the right choice. Any tip replies for Rina or team comps would be appreciated.
In short: Rina>Grace>Lycaon>Koleda>Solider11>nekomata However you should choose based on what gaps you can fill in your account like Lycaon for ellen,koleda for solider etc Also note if you have a character and they have a very good mindscape to unlock like rinas is worth considering
Managed to get everyone except Rina and Lycaon before my 300, so now stuck trying to decide which one of the two to pick. It's very frustrating trying to decide between the two best ones, honestly. Given how many agents I have to level up already, maybe it's just best to wait till I get the other one and then cash in for the other?

Probably S11 or Neko if you don't already have both Zhu Yuan and Jane. You need 2 teams for Shiyu and each team needs as good of a DPS carry as you can get. Neko and S11 may not be better than Ellen, ZY, or Jane, but they're better than any of the four star DPS options. If you already have two S rank main DPS, or if you have one but are planning on pulling Yanagi as the second, you can look at the other options (Koleda, Rina, etc). Otherwise, main DPS is imo always top priority until you have an S rank DPS agent for both teams. I'd also say don't get the Lycoan mindscape, he's useless to you. Without Ellen or Miyabi he doesn't have a good team, and neither of those two will be available until 2025.
I have Nekomata m1 ;-;, do I get her m2 over something like Grace m1 or Rina m1? Or should I get Lycaon since I have his signature? (I am only considering these because I technically only need 1 good stun character, dunno if anby m5 will be good for long term for my zhu yuan, second half is looking like anomaly disorder)
I already have lycaon, grace, soldier 11, and rina and I need rina m1. Already have her pen ratio enough to provide 20% pen buff for every one, I just need it to last longer Grace I thought I would like but her movement and overall combo and skillset is kinda lacking for me Koleda is fine as a burst daze but Lycaon is so versatile and easy to use as an agent I legit don't need another stunner besides him and anby.

sadly koleda will be the one who get powercreeped the fastest since lighter is arriving soon. though, as a koleda haver, i wouldn't pull for lighter because i have her already
Lycaon is kinda the no-brainer for me. Already have Rina and S11, and Koleda and Neko are really very mid tbh. I am lacking in the ice department only having Soukaku. With Lycaon and Miyabi coming soon-ish, it's gonna be a really nice team I hope. Lost the 50/50 on Ellen unfortunately :(
For having very fun gameplay, soldier 11 is lacking in design in comparison to the other units. Which is really tragic if you ask me. Still super fun tho
Nekomata isn't worth it if you got Jane, hell I say Piper is also better than Nekomata. But we still have no idea when the next Fire DPS will come, so I see Soldier 11 being viable, granted Burnice might likely out power her
I got Grace Elycon trying Ellen and Nekomata I got 10 pulls before completing 300 and as selectable I chose Soldier 11 I have all of them except Rina I don't like her anyway so it's ok
i will argue that koleda is the lowest. she has crazy daze but there are so many stunner characters already, chance is you already have a fantastic stunner or support that stuns well.
What would you suggest to someone, who’s only missing Grace & Nekomata? I feel like if I’m personally gonna pull for Yanagi shouldn’t I just get Nekomata?
Biased speaking, butNekomata only feels half-decent if you have her w-engine and Jane to me (though I do like her counter attack and using her with Jane.) Grace being my first unit has always felt solid even before I got M2 or her w-engine just for her wide attacks, anomaly mastery/rate, and team comps. Her M2 reducing electric res is good and may set her apart Yanagi to justify, but that may be more of an investment then pulling Yanagi. I recommend Grace just so you have electric anomaly unit now and decided if you like her more than Yanagi. Lycaon & Rina M1 are also the best upgrades you can for them for their team roles.
Soldier 11 is super solid when paired with ceasar. Super consistent and really powerful of you master her timing for pretty much 100% uptime. Lycaon is another fantastic option and arguably a must imo. Grace is decent option too. Koleda and nekomata found unalived in a ditch somewhere... Rina is probably going to be super solid come an electro attacker S rank
I see people mention the timing on her attacks all the time, you guys really seem to need to pat yourselves on the back for that one lol. It's a four button "combo" (that is literally the same button) with an extremely forgiving window. There's nothing to "master" lol idk why so many people use that specific wording. Nobody is going to praise you for doing something infinitely less difficult than what my 6 year old brother can do in street fighter lol
Damn, what should I do? :/ I only need Soldier 11, Nekomata & Rina... got Nekomata's Signature Weapon twice already, but she's lowest ranked and could be outskilled in future, I kinda want Soldier 11 (cuz fire dps, don't have any good, besides Koleda & Ben (both build already), but Koleda is stun tho) and by Rina, she is electric, I also need electric, as I only have Qingyi for now... (and Anton, but didn't build him, cuz my luck isn't good with getting crit-rate/dmg....) The other ones I got I only have M0, besides Lycaon, by him I have M1 (in case for information needed) Hope somebody can help me, I would be thankful! ^^
@@joshuajackson5203those two aren't damage dealers tho, Soukaku is especially way to slow to use and her EX special lacks invincibility frames like most other characters. If you don't got Ellen, you'd definitely want Miyabi for ice teams, Soukaku herself might soon be replaced too as one of the idol faction Agents is Ice Support
I don't have Lycaon for my Ellen team, but I have Caesar do fulfill the buffer/stunner role of Lycaon Should I still look for getting him to upgrade my Ellen team?
Tbh, depends on your play style... If you like to play aggressively and is confident in your skills, Lycaon is 100% the better option with his buffs/debuffs, not to mention that his DPS is also pretty good (throw a Soukaku into the mix and *BAM!* Hands down the team with the best synergy in the whole game)! But if you think you might take some damage here and there, and apreciates some survivability, then Caesar might be the better option.

ngl this is a lame duck video-standard banner characters are all about getting duplicates over time. The average account usually favors collecting m0 limited characters, but will get enough standard banner duplicates to keep them relevant for years. Even nekomata (who people dunk on) is an absolute monster at m4+. In Genshin I have c4 Jean randomly and she’s *irreplaceable* with her 40% anemo shred.
