That's a very explanatory, clear and impartial commentary about the instrument, very educational and help significantly. Would be great with more instruments had similar approach.

I read that hand pans will lose their tuning. I know of no one who will repair this. And it’s expensive to have to repurchase another every couple of years
@@hoopybunny53 Hi, my Lombardo Handpan do not go out of tune, they are guaranteed for life because of the metal I use and the treatment. However I also tune other handpans damaged in a few days. Visit the website www.lombardohandpan.com and write to us if you want to know more 😊🎶
Ciao Massimo, c'è la versione italiana. Visita il canale ;) Ecco il link della versione italiana ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L3FskT1ErSw.html
I live in the low desert near Palm Springs, California. Your video mentioned that extreme heat can make a handpan go out of tune. If I purchase one, what temperature range do I need to store my handpan to maintain its tuning longer? Also, on average and if played correctly by hand, how often do I need to tune a handpan?
Hi, our Lombardo Handpans are 100% hand made by me with a use of special materialsand intonation technique, our instuments do not go out of tune, we guarantee this. The heat does not cause any damage to our Lombardo Handpans, with other handpans you often run the risk of detuning. To learn more about our instumnets I invite you to visit www.lombardohandpan.com or email us at lombardohandpan@gmail.com!

Well the D-note from the ding is probably about 293 hz, the 432 hz refers only to the A above middle C, and the scale is build in reference to that. In fact. When you play a B kurd instead of a D, the B kurd is lower than the D. A lot lower. Going from 440hz to 432hz just lowers all the notes a tiny bit. If you play both, you might prefer the lower because it may sound more relaxing. That's what going lower does. Going higher (increasing pitch) makes things feel more tense. So this whole 432 hz shit just f-s up the notes. If you want to play with 440hz tuned instruments. everything is out of tune just a little bit. And why? So you can have your scale a TINY bit lower. Why not go from D Kurd to C# Kurd, and you can still play with all the other instruments tuned in 440hz, and have the same effect, a lowering of all the notes.
Thank you Lambardo! I can see a hand pan in my future, currently perfecting my jaw harp skills along with getting an ocarina for X-mas...I hope. I love all types of musical instruments.
I watched the 432 vs 440hz. Closed my eyes and felt the first one which was 440 more upbeat and fun so I figured that’s 440. But I craved the second one because it went deeper and lingered longer in the background and I like that. After the entire video I’ll have to say I want both. 440 being more upbeat and short had this snap that I liked and it was clear. Thank you for the demo 😉
