Can you make any comments on HMI College of Hypnotherapy vs. Marisa Peer/RTT as far as quality/depth of training and also business savvy support? My impression is that HMI may have more in depth training but Marisa Peer can prepare you much better for building a business. I know that you are a Marisa Peer graduate, so you have that perspective, but do you know much about HMI or its graduates?
Hi there. I don't have any first hand experience of HMI to draw any comparisons. HMI and Marisa Peer are both 'high end' players in the business with a very good reputation. I think it's a question of the kind of experience you want. HMI is a more traditional, formalised learning environment with a Physical School. It is accredited by the government and so is really a part of the establishment. You can see that as good, bad or something in between! Marisa Peer/ RTT is a newer player as a school and sought to challenge to the establishment and the way it thinks. The traditional thinkers in therapy I think feel threatened by the likes of RTT that challenges the idea that therapy is something people need to be in for months and years. The idea of the RTT is based upon getting quick results and challenging the traditional thinking of therapy. From my experience I can say that the RTT training is very good and very practical in how it is taught. It mixes online and in person training and has a strong community. The marketing question is interesting. In my opinion, its very hard for any of the schools to keep up to date with the marketing side of the business. This is changing so quickly because the tech is changing so quickly. What worked for the teachers or the founders of the school to market themselves way back when is often very outdated now. It's all about digital marketing, its global and very competitive market now. So unless you work on therapy marketing in the frontline every day its hard for anyone to keep up with what works now.
It includes doing regression to early life but when I did it there was nothing specific about past life regression. I have had clients who feel they have gone back to past life experiences when I have done regression with them. I have made a video with my perspectives on past life regression. Here is a link to it
It’s a pleasure. My view is that we should focus on identifying and resolving the issues from our childhood and earlier life before we get into looking at past live regression. Most of the issues we have are learned and programmed in our childhood and are not issues that we are born with
