The whole purpose of the Sensate is to calm the Vagus Nerve by stimulation - it's not designed to wear walking or sleeping - it's for relaxing & meditation. Hope this helps.
I've watched many of your videos. Among the most famous VNS devices like Apollo, Pulsetto, TouchPoints, Hapbee, Sapphire, VeRelief, Truvaga, Sensate, Nurosym & Neuvana which one do you recommend?
Having Touch Points and Sensate, I'd opt for Sensate. The app is okay, but you get sounds with the stimulation. Touch Points are a nice option for the price, but based on my own experience, Sensate has done much better. Touch Points just have a much similar method of action. Vibrating back and forth on different intensities. I'll need to try the others. Not the author of this video, but felt id chip in.
Looking at the horrible customer service reviews over at the Better Business Bureau as well as those on Trustpilots, I can't pull the trigger on an Apollo.

@@treyg855 Yes guided by the various meditation sounds and music so they're all different. Also you can adjust the vibration strength. I really love it but I was meditating before I bought one, this just takes it to a whole new level and I can feel a difference in my wellbeing when I stop using it for a while.
Thank you. Because both devices are so expensive its very helpful to have info like this before deciding which model to go for. Bit concerned about the comments you made about connectability to the app -that might actually raise my stress levels! Ps the offers below have expired are you able to reactivate them?
This is great. Such good information. Now considering the Leif and the sensate. ❤ One idea for a video: do you notice changes in HRV when you eat poorly (like fast food)?
Awesome, yes Lief is a great complimentary or standalone device. I definitely noticed a decrease in HRV when I eat even slightly inflammatory foods and yes I have at least briefly talked about that in past videos 👍
Have you found any devices comparable to Lief but more accessible/can outright buy? I love that Lief helps you identify when you may be stressed and starts working in real time.
Hello! I’m a college students struggling with some anxiety, but mostly an inability to fall asleep. I’ve been following your channel for some time now and would love your input on which vagus nerves stimulator I should get, since there are now many options on the market. My budget would be anywhere under $400 USD. I appreciate your suggestions!
How would you keep the Sensate device on the center of your chest while sleeping. Seems like the Apollo would do better since it can be worn on the wrist. Thanks for the video. ☺
Apollo is pretty much always running in the background for me. Then I alternate between Pulsetto ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NZXiReL3sGE.html and Verelief ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6vIcX4ZHxfI.html Throughout the day. Check out my reviews to see which one resonates best with you.
I'm not really allowed to make recommendations since I'm not a medical professional. What I can do is make comparison videos between the different kinds of similarly acting stimulators and let my viewers decide for themselves
@@HRVHackers thanks a lot sir!! All I needed ;) if i can give you some advice myself, got a gym nesrby with Hot and could plunges as well as sauna and vapor sauna and have been seeing improvements in night time hrv after about a months use
I use lief: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x5ZIZZvZe8g.html. And yes it absolutely makes a difference especially when dealing with a chronic illness of an unknown origin like I am
@@HRVHackers Could you be more specific about the benefits for you? I know about the CFS context from previous interactions. Lief is really not an option economically for me. To pay 70$ per month, I think that's completely out there.
@@HRVHackers Do you also have SNS very activated after meals? That's the most insane symptom which still doesn't make sense to me. What do you do to calm it down? And thanks for your responses
@djVania08 I use devices like Pulsetto or Verelief to strongly activate parasympathetic. I use leaf to monitor my responses to different foods and temporarily eliminate the ones that lower my HRV. Do you know what kind of an illness you're dealing with by the way?
Thank you very much for your work and suggestions! Is the hrv really sufficient to measure relaxation or would it perhaps be better to stick to the traditional measurements that measure the well-researched relaxation response: Heart rate, blood pressure (measurable with the new smartwatches) and respiratory rate and thus improve the general condition? Do you know of a device/ watch that displays these three, perhaps even together with the hrv , in real time, maybe even on the same screen? I am mainly interested to improve my relaxation throuout the day in order to meditate better. Thank you!
