I appreciate your insights, but I believe there's more to consider regarding HRIS roles. While your experience as an HR Professional is undoubtedly valuable, my 8 years as an HRIS Analyst lead me to a different perspective. Understanding HR fundamentals is indeed crucial for effective system implementation, but the technical skills can be learned. You mentioned other HR fields potentially offering greater earning potential. Could you please specify some of the top-earning HR careers? While leadership positions may offer faster advancement, financially, HRIS roles can often surpass compensation manager positions. The expertise gained as an HRIS professional is irreplaceable, making you integral to system implementation. Contrary to the notion of stagnation, the field offers abundant growth opportunities. Moreover, transitioning to other HR roles becomes seamless due to your comprehensive understanding of policies and technology. While staying updated with technology may seem daunting, it's a small price to pay for the vast opportunities and adaptability HRIS professionals possess. I respect your viewpoint but believe the potential and versatility of HRIS roles deserve recognition in the discussion of HR careers.
This video provides a clear and insightful comparison between HRIS jobs and other HR roles, making it easier to decide which path might be best for your career. Thank you for offering such valuable guidance and perspective!
Although I am a normal HR here is my view. Even normal HR's growth is stagnant and has slower growth. The major difference is HRIS has a better package than the normal HR. There are multiple openings for HRIS roles across the globe currently there is lot of demand but there are no skilled employees
For HR operations in terms of hierarchy, it might have a wider scope , but in terms of salary there's not much scope, can you please let us know about the salary scope of hris role
When it comes to salary, hr doesn't have so much of growth compared to other fields tho i have also pursued bba in hr but seeking to change field after some years of working

And under this HCM /Success factors modules are there any sub-modules? what's the difference basically? It will be a help if you could explain these
Dear SAP renamed its HR module from HCM to Successfactor, its the same thing and there is a single HR module HCM/successfactor, there is nothing to be opted further in it, one should atleast know this entire module to a have a rich profile.
