Which is the BEST F1 Simracing Game? 

Raceroom is so underrated. It has the best tire grip that gives you the confident of taking high speed corners without spinning out and best solid feel on the wheel with trueforce built into the game. No other game has engine vibration and gear shift effects that are well pronounced on high torque wheel.

Might be biased but I think Automobilista 2 should be way higher (on par or ahead of AC) and F1 22 should be lower (4th). AMS2 looks great, you have skin support from the community so that you could actually have the liveries look like the current F1 seasons and also have the names of the real drivers with adjustable parameters you can play around with. You not only have the '22 car and grid that you can recreate using skins, but also 2021, 2020, 2012, 2001, 2000, 1997, 1994/5, 1991, 1990, 1988, 1986, 1985, 1983, 1978, 1974/5, 1969 and 1967 (and more coming from the community and possibly even Reiza themselves) and classic tracks for those as well. And if you get the 2020-22 season pass (which is a very good value for money especially when on sale) you have all this without paying extra for any mod or subsciption. You even get a lot of the stuff without the season pass, it just adds a couple of real F1 cars like the BT52, MP4/4, MP4/5B, MP4/6, Lotus 98T and more tracks like Spa, Nürburgring, Hockenheim, Silverstone and Monza including classic versions for each. Plus, it has the best VR support out of any of the others, which only adds to the immersion. The only thing F1 22 is doing well is that it actually has the official licenses, sponsors, cars. I can't get me to like how the cars feel. Like you said they're very inconsistent and weird to drive and if you can't enjoy how they drive all the authenticity is not worth much for me.

Assetto Corsa in my opinion has the best. The formula hybrid 2022 and 2021 give a superb sound and drive. It’s easy to drive the two. The VRC Alpha 2022 car is pure madness. Imagine you get an opportunity to drive an F1 car, but you’ve always wondered how good you had to be to safely drive it at race speeds. Then you get into the car, and it completely dominates every thing you thought you knew…that’s the VRC lol.

AMS2 would have been my second choice just behind iRacing. When you consider that they have Silverstone, Circuit Giles Villenueve, Suzuka, Monaco, Spa, Interlagos, Imola, Monza, Red Bull Ring, Hockenheim, and Nurburgring, you can effectively replicate an entire season of F1 races on quality, laser-scanned circuits.

F1 22 was a fail in fact, but it still has its advantages. Yes, the physics aren’t great but you can’t deny that they have the absolute best car models, career mode and the only MyTeam.

AMS2 IMO should be higher and F1 22 should be last. She even says the physics are funky so don’t understand why she put the car that high up

Great video Emily! And I’m right there with you on the rankings. F1 22 may have the most unrealistic physics but the entire F1 experience taken in to consideration it deserves that spot on your list. I can also understand why they make the physics this way, probably to attract a bigger audience. Imagine Iracing getting the F1 license, that would be a dream come true (racing wise, not wallet wise). I’m almost A class in Iracing (started 2 weeks ago) and I’m tempted to give the W13 a go, scared as fk though 😅)

I can't take iRacing-physics so serious and just listen to the complains of NASCAR-drivers while it's certainly more easy to simulate raw cars like that. Max Verstappen refused to do E-Sports on F1 because of the physics, so it's probably BS af. Verstappen was saying, that a rF2-mod is the best, at least for the last model, and certainly the right game to look for the best F1-experience if it's the 'official' Formula Pro or a mod. I'm too old for F1 anyway and just feels like arcade with the downforce.

Asstto Corsa F1 championship mods are the best. I've played through 1986, 1991, 2002 and 2022 seasons and never before I had such enjoyment from any sim racing game. AI is a bit tough to set up though. Not perfect but it works.

I cannot find ANY F1 racing sims with decent realism, physics etc. and damage from making contact with other cars

iRacing is a strange one for me, the car can feel like it's on rails but it is so unpredictable at the same time, it also comes across quite tame visually. It's hard to explain. So far Assetto corsa RSS and VRC mods are the most fun for pure driving. it's just hard to find quality online racing for AC.

F1 22 is the only game here where you can have a proper season, all the others are basically for time trials. Raceroom and iracing doesn't even have rain, how the heck are you going to have a season with no rain. The second closest would be Automobolista 2, at least this has weather and with some mods you can come kinda close to a season, still a lot of the tracks missing. So basically there is just one game, F1 22 to have a proper season.

The old "its difficult to drive so it must be the best car".... believe me that get's old now, very old. Also the title says best F! simracing game, but you are comparing cars not games right? And if so how on earth could you rate simcade F1 22 higher than RRE?

It’s not exactly a fair comparison f1 22 is classed more of a simcade than a sim and it leans more on the arcade spectrum and comparing it to actual sim racers is bogus imo.

Tbh f1 22 is very inconsistent with kerbs yes there are some like she said you can just yet over but a lot of the kerbs in the game will make you spin even if you touch by a slight bit or you can easily bottom out as well but still f1 22 has its perks but also it isn’t the best imo

I play on console and I wish there was a title that could allow vintage racing on old circuits I do have project cars 2 and love the vintage content but would love a AMS 2 or grand Prix legends on the platform.

The reason you’re loosing the rear in asseto corsa, is because you’re not shifting the break balance to the front wheels on the long straights

iceRacing is comical with physics-defying crashes. Overall, Raceroom has the best physics and is way underrated, imo.

Maybe its not official, but rF2 has some really good F1 2022 and F1 2023 mods. I think its a port of the AC mod Formula Hybrid, but really good! Also, the VRC you can eliminate the porpoising with the setup

I hate f1 games.. only played f1 2018 cuz got it for free somewhere but forcefeedback there is awful (with g29 at least) and at the moment I noticed that in order to go backwards I have to hold brake... I ragequitted that forever xd (dunno if I can change that in settings somewhere but I went straight back to AC)

F1 22 is horrific aside from its innovative career mode and my team, thus it should not be on this list or any for that matter alone. Some of the tracks aren't accurate, the physics are a joke, and so is the force feedback. Love the video! keep up the good work.

I would not consider f1 22 as a sim. F1 is not even close to a sim. The physics is so stupid and i dont even start on the many bugs which are still not fixed. The license is nice, but the game itself should not be on this list.

Ich fahre F1 seit 1997. Der letzte Teil hat alles verrissen, was da in den Jahren an Entwicklung dazukam. AMS2 und AC sind derbe stark wenn es um die Traktion geht. Wobei AC deutlich besser ist und man auch genpgend Server findet. AMS2 ist eher eine Lachnummer, 4-5 Server mit mehr als einem Fahrer sind viel. Offline cool, aber sonst, naja. Fakt ist, F1 22 ist schlecht. Miese Physik, schlechter Grip, keine Sim.

The only thing F1 2022 has got going for it, is that it’s the “official” game.. from what I heard, it runs on a ancient physics engine and according to actual F1 drivers it’s nowhere near to how a F1 car should drive..
