Keep in mind that while the exclusion of some Gen 8 Pokemon was due to the video being scripted/edited before Sword and Shield's release, a lot of other Pokemon were left out so they could be placed in the party of other jobs, like Inteleon with a spy, Gumshoos with a detective, Applin with a teacher, Orbeetle with a pilot, etc.

Abra's evolution line would be perfect for every teacher. Abra in Pre to Elementary School, Kadabra in Middle and High school and Alakazam, having an IQ of 5000, would be perfect for both College and University. In fact, with Alakazam remembering everything it ever saw in it's life, as a Student you would probably just have to show him something you need to learn, and then it can probably use it's psychic powers to make you perfectly memorize whatever you just showed him.

Actually, as an aspiring chef-to-be-someday (or at least a home cook hehe), and a pokèfan, these would be my recommendations: - Sizzlepede - the perfect stove/rotisserie - Rotom (Heat) - oven - Torkoal and Timburr- Smoker and wood-provider duo - Slurpuff - freshness checker, ratatouille-style - Coalossal - Coal-cooker - Ambipom/Steenee/Braixen - Kitchen Assistant - Pawniard - Prep work asst. - Kadabra/Alakazam -Taste Tester (I mean w/their brains and spoons and all) - Swinub - berry finder (better than greedy Greedents) also as a mild freezer to keep raw food fresh *I don't want fragrant pokemon around my kitchen cuz it'd mess up w/ the chef's sense of smell. *I did not choose pokemon who'd hinder me to put my skills as a chef into use, or ultimately letting them do the cooking. *No pokemon should be used as tools, but as companions, you lovely freaks. loved the video!! here’s some i made! teachers: metagross (for grading all those papers), audino (kid friendly and a good nurse if needed!), exploud (for those big lecture halls that need good audio), greedent (except this one is trained to SHARE the snacks to hungry students) and chatot (to help those who need repetition)!! for therapists, it’s like the nurses but add absol (to predict emotional disasters) all of the dog pokemon (as emotional support or service dogs), hypno (for those with insomnia), and all of the cute pokemon to cheer you up.

Scyther would be more appropriate as a farmer's assistant. With it's scythes and blinding speed, it can harvest crops incredibly fast. You'd also want a Pokemon that can water vast areas quickly (maybe a Blastoise using Hydro Pump into the air over the fields?), and a Pokemon that can manipulate/cause sunshine (maybe a Solrock?) A Dugtrio would be great to plow the fields rapidly, and since you need a cow on a stereotypical farm, you have to have Miltank, which leaves one slot if you want a six-Pokemon team.

Galarian Weezing would be very helpful to firefighters, as it helps neutralize gas leaks and absorb toxic smoke, and Alolan Muk might also be useful in trying to stop the spread of liquid fuels.

In times like this. We really could use alot of Galarian Weezings.

This is actually fantastic. I love how it was all put together and how everything was thought out. I've thought about ideas like this day after day, and the way you've explained everything really helps me fill in some holes that weren't patched up for me before! If our world had Pokemon, jobs would be a lot easier, maybe a bit more fun--hopefully a bit more fun... The Galarian Poke Job system was a great source of insight into this type of thing. I liked that system because it gave more realism to the Pokemon, and it really showed them working with people as they were mostly intended to do. From those jobs, I imagined what the specifics of each Poke Job would be. Carkoal (I think I spelled that wrong) Slugma, and Sizzlipede probably all went down to help in the Galar Mines, taking raw ores, clearing off the rock, and smelting them into ingots for use in buildings. Buizel/Floatzel, Wartortle, Milotic and possibly Wailmer/Wailord could've been used for sea rescue missions, diving underwater for people/Pokemon or just going way offshore to get stranded people who were pulled out to see and are in need of help. Maybe even Pelipper! I can't think of any other specifics off the top of my head but I've put lots of thought into these and I don't know Galar well enough to continue with just Galarian Pokemon. I could potentially be helpful with coming up with Pokemon for jobs in Part 2?

An idea we had on a forul was to build teams depending our situation irl: geographic situation, profession, activities, etc... It's very interesting to build his own team with some interesting Pokemons that we woulen't think of normally, and not the "classic op teams" with Garchomp or Charizard... I feel like the hold item known as the Float Stone would be helpful in real life. That, and a lot of Fire types would need people to build an apparatus to contain the flame on their tails/bodies from setting anything on fire while keeping the fire from going out.

Hey - I see my job here! I’m a visual artist, and I love the choices. Malamar especially! I’ve also had plenty of work experience in retail - including clothing and department stores. I can imagine Tsareena would be a good fit in that job, too, alongside Lopunny, Furfrou, and the others.

I have wanted Pokemon to be real ever since I was little, but seeing how they could actually be part of our work force, I want them to be real even more. Please do a Part 2 for this video!

I can’t think of a team I would use as an intelligence analyst 😂 Maybe you can include military jobs? Like ground soldiers, sailors, and fighter jet pilots. Pokémon can help them do their jobs safely and protect people!

Swablu is also great for cleaning / tidying :3 it uses its fluffy wings to dust - then washes its wings. ( what a good bird ) It also likes to pretend to be a hat . ( these are from the Pokédex)

I’m a teacher and I think the following Pokemon would be useful: Noctowl and Venonat could use their eyes to check for pupils cheating during an exam, Bulbasaur can help round up pupils with its vine whip, Cinderace could help teach PE (Physical Education), Luxray could patrol the halls looking for skivers and truants, Audino and Chansey can work with the school nurse and then any other Pokemon could act as a school mascot. I’d choose my boy Typhlosion for that.

I work as a Biomedical Technician at the local Hospital. I know we’d have a ton of Rotoms in the shop to be able to detect or temporarily fix a problem in a machine. Chanseys, Blisseys, Audinos, and Comfeys would roam the hospital. We might have a few fighting types and poison types with environmental services and shipping. I can also see Reunicleus’s line around the cancer center, as they might be able to psychically destroy the bad cells with no need for radiation.
