3 vids into the channel and I love how you’re not afraid to apply novel approaches with different controllers to different situation. Some people get so aspie about applying things outside of their normal scope.
I have a farmstick and i wanna buy another joystick now so dual for forestry, i want them to feel roughly the same but the t16000m is cheaper so if the force and smoothness of the joysticks are the same id buy the t16000m because i dont need any more buttons just one more joystick
Although I admit I scrubbed through the video, I can still say it was a great review, so thanks. I am quite interested in this stick, however I'm concerned about being able to comfortably access all of the controls on the head of stick. I have little T-rex hands, and I can't imagine I'll be able to control the hat joystick without lifting my hand off of the rest. In fact, even when you accessed it, your hand was up off of the rest, albeit you were simply demonstrating and not using it as intended. That said, it looks like you'd still have to move your hand up the stick a bit to get to the hat and wheel. Am I wrong here? Now I think I could tolerate not being able to use the hat joystick, yet I know it will become tiresome. Also, I'm not confident I would be able to bend my thumb under enough to accurately, and comfortably for that matter, access the six buttons at the base of the head. I actually use HOTAS to play MMOGs whereas I'm constantly panning the camera as well as the other buttons. I'm just not sure the constant need to move my hand, assuming this is a fact, will not end up being prohibitive in terms fatigue. Can you give me an idea of the ergonomics in practice, say, when using it as a flight sim stick? Thanks
The question is: are we really missing the throttle for space sim? because the farmstick brings lots of features for the value, but looks to be designed for farming use which is less dynamic than space sim. if you buy 2 farmstick (no matter the markings on teh buttons) you can fly HOSAS?
But does it have a twist axis? I assume it does, because, why would they leave that out? But since you didn't mention it I've now got to go looking for another review before I order one. Also wondering if the twist axis is finally using hall effect, or still on that crappy potentiometer that's so prone to failing on the T16000.
Can't wait for the Farm Stick to drop. I have the T16.000M with the TWCS and I'm absolutely LOVING the TWCS. I think I'll use the Farm Stick as my main joystick and the T16.000M as a secondary
