I hear plastic bags are particularly effective on politicians. You just have to tape up all the gaps, and their hands because their hands spread covid.
30 masks and 2 rolls of cling film to seal. Make it mandatory. Anyone not complying with this should be shot. Oh and curfew from 8pm to 7pm. 1 hour out only.
The best anti-covid mask is one made from PVC, such as a plastic carrier bag, which fully covers the wearers head, is pulled down over the face and tied tightly at the neck. After just 3 minutes, the wearer is fully protected from ever catching covid. Permanently.
I once saw a poster outside a class last year, it said how to wear a mask with a golden retriever as an example. *I’m pretty sure boris is the dog that wore the mask over their eyes.*
People think a paper or cloth mask that can’t block the smell of a fart is helping negate a none existent deadly virus- well done government people are officially stupid.
Marley My #theory Goes Why force a face #nappy onto us!! Mine was rather breathless So it got taken down after a day If people wanna wear #mask Then good #luck But even better if no #face #nappy on

@Animal Mother I never said there wasn't a virus. Go look up the 'Gain of Function' research on Bats that 'Dr'Fauci conducted under NIH then transferred to the Wuhan Biological Lab 100 meters away from the wet market......that is if you have any instinct to use your own brain and apply some critical thinking to the non-stop propaganda on the TV
They didn't actually answer the question of which mask is best, given that there are multiple considerations in choosing one. No doubt the FFP2/3 N95 ones are the best of those presented, barring the cost. I have some but the instructions say to use them for up to 7 hours and only use them once... In fact when I use one it is for less than an hour on any day I have to go to the shop, but that's my only time outdoors - so would 7 days be OK? It isn't clear. Anyway, from a box of 10 I use them in rotation, one a day, then set it aside and move on to the next one, and so on for 10 days, then go back to the first one. We were told at some point earlier in the pandemic that the virus particles will die if left without a host for a while, so this should be safe enough. Of course, it has also been found that the virus can survive for quite a while on some surfaces... so... what about that?
I agree, he did not answer the question! Speaking from a scientific standpoint, only N95/KN95/FFP2/3 respirators provide protection against SARS-CoV-2 virus. Other cloth masks and even surgical masks are not recommended (Considering the size of the virus aerosols, which are only filtered through N95/KN95/FFP2/3). Using N95 respirators in rotation is practiced by many unless they are health workers. Having 5 in rotation would do the job unless they get wet or worn in a densely populated place.
@@Properkunt that’s exactly why they should fact check! How about face shields? In the Philippines, we are required to wear both face masks and face shields upon entry in establishments and on public transport.

@@philipbaker2894 If its nothing to do with life and death then I say take your time, unless they can prove that wearing masks will be actually harmful, the thing is that most nation is short on masks because they dont produce their own one, and scientist knows that masks should go to hospital for frontline workers, they just can't tell people masks works but you can't get it due to shortage, so end up using media telling people masks might or might not be effective, just to calm people down.
I'm an American, and this is the most responsible reporting on masks that I've seen. I'm very glad to see distinctions being made between source covering, droplet protection, and aerosol protection functions, as well as the notice to take care in don/doffing and, to quote Dr. van Kerkhove, to "do it all." I don't think I've seen any of these elements in any of the "double masking" articles that are flooding american papers right now.
Now that we've been wearing them for half a year, with cases having surged over the winter, is there any actual data to show they slow the spread, or was 50 years of WHO advice correct and they are a placebo outside of medical settings.
And here lies the problem lots of people haven't. The Isle of Man has and now there completely out of lockdown and back to normal yes I agree there population is low but no one allowed in or out following advice and it's worked. Well done them
@@pullingespresso6851 false equivalent. There is plenty of research from WHO pre-2020 that masks have limited impact outside of a medical setting. In fact, they can be a dangerous placebo.

@@fakefalsetruth7213 That isn't the case. The N95 grade mask offers protection to others when worn along with reducing the viral load for the wearer which has been proved to directly correlate with the level of sickness experienced.

8 months ago, BBC was spending so much time arguing whether mask is useful or not. Same as this video, didn’t answer the question directly. Made us think they are all ok - which is not! Maybe from people gathering in the streets for protests and also a lot of stupid people in those mega churches without a mask and ending the lockdown poor mask usage and shit like that. Very simple explanations. Also not all areas have mandates.
That’s because while they did.. it’s because as soon as they were required by the government.. a lot of people immediately had a “f*** you government you can’t tell us what to do” attitude and didn’t wear them. Other people over hyped the effectiveness of masks and basicaly treated masks as if they gave themself immunity and just started crowding together and, a lot of unvaccinated people gathering together masks or no mask will make cases go up, although masks do SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER THE CHANCES OF THAT HAPPINING so there

@@magic9179 Asthma, I would imagine since it is an inflammatory issue, would cause the sufferer to have to draw in breaths harder and deeper. I would also imagine this would be made more difficult with a fitted mask, such as an N95 or 1/2 face mask. This would not, however, prevent them from wearing a cloth or surgical mask as these are not as air tight. Either way...if one is an asthma sufferer, I am certain they would do everything in their power (including wear a mask) to avoid catching any lung disease, particularly a SARS, which would most likely guarantee them a date with a ventilator. @@isitfashion there have been studies which indicate coronaviruses can be killed by UV irradiation (using a UV oven) in a matter of hours however, studies for SARS-CoV-2 have been limited. So the general advice is to leave the N95 mask hanging in a place with a free flow of air (I.e next to a door opening, window, or outside). Leaving it in a place where it gets sunlight (I.e. heat) will speed up the disinfection process. Idea behind this is SARS-CoV2 virus can only remain on a surface for a limited amount of time (I.e. 48 hrs on cloths). So if you use 5 masks in rotation, you will be on the safe side. That means if you are a regular user, you will be using the first mask again on the 6th day.
I have stopped wearing a mask because after a year of wearing N95 masks most of the time, my baseline oxygen levels have dropped a bit(my body has adapted and now even 90% SPO2 is normal for me) and because of this my resting heart rate has gone up. Also, due to this my VO2 max has dropped considerably. In order to protect myself from covid19 I have caused other health issues.

@@Kevin-sy8uf so is he not right in saying masks don’t stop you breathing in the virus? Actually they make you touch your face more. Touch is a more effective transmitter of the virus. That’s a political decision. The science is only one factor in the decision. @English Bulldog you told me "dnt answer that" - so yes, you did tell me not to respond. Now how about you show some proof that the masks are useless? Because there's proof out there that uses special imaging to show how few germs breach the mask when wearing one compared to without.
@@atrsharpe Danmask19. Masks are useless. Not that the burden of proof for that is on us. I bought a cloth version plus filters inserting into a pocket inside. I also wore inside the familiar green or white masks. I felt however that this prevented or hindered breathing through the mask so took in air from the sides of the nose, Whilst hard to tell it seemed obvious as air was getting out that way and steaming my glasses so if the air gets out there then it must be coming in there, so... maybe extra layers or not good.
