After the nerf (If it makes it into the main game), I believe he's gonna be more of a kiter than a rescuer, cause there's no way the 4 seconds of puppet near a chair can counter that many hunters when the great majority has ways to stall or deal damage with no recovery. Rescuing aside, he's gonna be a great kiter, trading 25% damage for a 50% shield 3 times before going down (assuming you don't miss the timing) is gonna be really strong, kinda like 3 seer owls, with the tradeoff that after the second time you go down in one hit/terrorshock. Also having an item to rebound after being rescued from chair is always useful (I'm looking at you, Perfumer) We'll have to see how he gets played at top level and how people will counter him, but ISTG if they slap the "Rescuer" tag as his main tag, I'll be mad.

if he is going to be a lifeguard, I am sure that my friend will compare Matthias with Tracy something like "oh look, mechanic being a decoder has a debuff on decoding"

@@Nubspector if i catch perfumer out on route to the chair or outplay on the camp i'll get damage on her despite perfume so she can't rescue again without assist - if i catch puppeteer out from half the map away to chair and hit him twice before he gets to chair and hit him a third time at chair he still gets the rescue off for the most part anyway what defines a rescuer is how stuff-resistant they are and short of counters like stun hunters this one looks extremely difficult to stuff

Louis' second skill where he freezes for a short bit is kinda useless since it doesn't trigger hunter's attack recovery, only viable if the hunter has a damaging skill like violinist, scultpor, breaking wheel's snap

Do you think he is not counterable and not strong? I saw a lot of people saying he was "OVERPOWERED" after watching your gameplay but you're already good in your own, so I wanted to know your opinion lol

they say overpowered but the actual reasoning is probably 'if you run certain hunters against this surv you cannot win if they don't flop'

I think he was supposed to be a rescuer, but after that nerf. I don't know what he should be. not a good kiter, yet not a good rescuer does this character even need to be picked in the team? because he also have to combo with ada or barmaid.

Louis timer is halfed around rocket chairs, and he has a projection that appears for a second to let hunters know when he starts using his ability, and hitting Louis gives Hunter 10% hit cool down reduction

To give a clear sign of where you used the puppet, considering he shrinks a bit when he uses the puppet (as far as I know, that was the reason)

Why ann is not S tier or atleast A+ tier? I still don't get this. She is really good

she is at least A tier coming from someone who plays in tier 5 and above. She also basically guarantees ties in rank if you play aggressive enough with her no matter how good a survivor team is. I think the only survivors who can actually counter her are Prospector but you have to be very strategic with how you play him against Ann. Other survivors would be Grave Keeper, Seer, and maybe Perfumer.

Coming from a unicorn rank player, the reason is because her skill is pretty much only anti kite. While it is versatile used correctly, like the infamous camping strategy with her 2nd skill. But even then, with practice, its fairly simple to dodge the cats in camping and kiting. It also is true that she cant cipher pressure very well. She is a tie hunter for this reason, and is said to be a "tie queen" alongside bq. She has a very solid and formidable anti kite skill, but she just cant compare with cipher rush. Personally, ive seen a lot of ann mains ban luca/prisoner, and i dont blame them one bit. TL;DR is that she is a good hunter, its just easier to cipher rush her, so she doesnt have time to kill more than 2 survivors in higher tier.
