I am SEETHING at the discovery that choco mountain ranks at #8. This song has a whimsy unlike any other and in this video essay I will touch upon how every single aspect about it builds on this and how the chords are more satisfying than anything else in this game (aside from maybe rainbow road). I truly and utterly believe it is impossible to be unhappy while listening to this song, which is a luxury I don't think I can echo for any other AND KALIMARI RIGHT AFTER IT?? i don't know why but the kalimari desert footage is killing me. just seeing wario, yoshi, and mario slowly and peacefully come to a stop as the train goes by... then toad flies in outta nowhere and slams into one of mario's green shells... then wario and yoshi just decide to run into the train for some ungodly reason
