The acrylics have sizing in them, as does fabric. Keeps it crisp, but softens after washing.

Ragg is also a term for yarn that is twisted with one dyed yarn and one not dyed. It can also be two different fibers. All the yarn looks beautiful. I'm intrigued by the value yarn. Honestly I like the out of focus background.. It puts the emphasis on you!! That 2 minute wash, does that include the rinse?? 🤣😂🤣😂 YES!!!! BIG difference between Turkey and China when it comes to yarns!! I'd LOVE a dark rainy day, so tired of this hot & smokey. 😢 I suddenly want to make hats with that baby yarn. ☺️ 🤣😂🤣😂 I'm kinda like your mom too, "Patience my a--, I'm going to kill something". I've even made cabinets!! I've done SO much on my own, but now that my hands don't work as well, I can't. 😟

The yarn is so pretty!! I have to mention, the new camera made the background of you yarn stash and everything else actually looked farther back than usual. It brought you much closer to the camera view, I liked it!

Hi. I have them all, I took up online wool shopping during Covid, lol. The alpaca tweed which is close to the woodland only more alpaca, 10% more actually washes and dries even though the instructions are what you have been reading. Found that out by accident. I won’t run it through again but zero shrinkage or pilling. The baby blanket knits a pattern. With one ball I got a car seat blanket and a 10 inch bear with enough leftovers for a hat. Bought enough Aspen lodge for a cardigan. It is beautiful. And the heathers, bought one of each colour to see what one I liked, yes, I too have a yarn addiction. They compliment each other with subtle specks of the others. The one called grist looks ugly online but has bits of the others and compliments them well. I’m knitting winter headbands with random 2 colour combinations of the heathers with little pine trees, pattern by cozy up knits, they are rustic and beautiful. The Ragg I knit a Cardi and it’s very nice but has a halo. Watch for their 20% off sale, fill your cart early, leave it and they’ll send you free shipping or another 20% off coupon in a day or two. Yes, I did, 40% off! I’m Canadian, we pay more so have to be craftier with sales😂.

Pretty sure the value yarn is Caron Simply Soft. Looks identical and I am betting the yardage is the same also. Splitty is also accurate lol! The new camera is giving a clear nice picture, and the volume is great.

Aspen looks to be a z twist, work it from the outside, . Z twist is also known to give fabulous stitch definition in crochet. Love the colours. Thanks for the demo.

The first thing is about the camera. The visual is very crisp and clear. Colors are very nice. The blouse you are wearing is showing up very nicely. Great quality video. The yarns....wow, I'm like you when it comes to out west color themes. I love those colors. So the lodge color way is a big yes for me. The Heathered yarn, I love the color of it also. I'm a big purple fan. The value yarn I have bought and I agree with you. It is soft but not like premier anti pilling. I like using ragg yarns when I'm making a multi colored blanket. I made a tunisian entreloc king size blanket and one of the color way was a grey/cream ragged yarn. The baby yarn was very pretty. Thank you for another Yarn Porn Friday.

Hi Jennifer, I am enjoying your latest yarn reviews. Very nice and thorough too. 😉 Also, I am currently using Red Heart Yarn and it is made in Turkey. It is in the color pumpkin and softer than the older Red Heart yarn. Also, some Main Stay yarn is made in India and some in Turkey and a little softer too. Buy a Red Heart Yarn made in Turkey and see what you think about it. I only say this because you said your favorite yarns are made in Turkey and India. (I am listening). Thank you for your time and energy.

For me the video is very clear and adjustment was very good! I appreciate the info on all the yarn. For years I've washed and dried acrylic yarns, NP, those instructions are so silly! I like yarns from Turkey too, and the ones from Italy are terrific, but expensive usually! Thank you for sharing, 🤗

Jen, When I hear Best Value I think it is in the price. You get really nice things or a bigger amount of something for a cheaper price & it’s the best value you will find for the particular items or things. Not sure I made myself clear but…. Love how Crystal clear your new camera is especially when you showed the yarn & how good it showed the colors.

The washing instructions made me giggle. I truly appreciate all the work you put into this type of video. I know they are alot of work. But i really appericate a true review where you work with the yarn not just feel the yarn in the ball and call it a review. Thank you soooooo much!!!!
