I agree. I did this sort of thing myself. Really thought hard about it. The one I disagree with the most is Deku he fails 100% and I’m not saying that as a knock against Deku but as a compliment. A part of this type of analysis isn’t just their abilities but how they would approach things and early Deku the moment he would see someone in danger he would break his limbs saving them. When trying to save someone he tends to throw caution to the wind and even if he was at the level where he would just break his fingers there are too many moments he would be compelled to hurt himself he would require a ton of plot armor to make it through the whole exam. The Hunter exam is different from things like the sports festival the danger is much higher. Plus Deku maybe smart but there are different of intelligence. I view Deku as a more analytical type of intelligent he mostly shows his intelligence when he has time to himself to think. Less so when presented with a sudden and unexpected problem. The ones I did were Luffy, Naruto, and Edward Elric. The short answer I ended up with include Luffy probably passes but some areas he would struggle with. Naruto this is very early Naruto like just got headband so it’s more 50/50. Edward early on is so versatile and very smart he clears easily. This is the conclusion I came to. I did put a lot of thought into it, it would just take forever to go over every little detail.
