To answer the starting question: corporate cheerleader In regards to the whole, 'glorify the bad guy', I do love the concept. You get to see a whole different perspective on them, creating a lighter 'hey they're not so bad' tone to the story. It allows for some pretty good debates about morality and which side is the real antagonist by painting the world as grey instead of black & white, just like real life. And that's really cool. But, there's also the counterpart: demonising the good guys. A solid example of this (that I've been playing around with) would be taking our favourite golden retriever and making him into the heartless killer he was designed to be (like before the pilot events). This achieves the same grey world effect as glorifying the antagonist, but also puts a seriously dark tone on everything by exposing that not all are true golden retrievers. And I LOVE that. I actually unironically did the shattered glass thing you mentioned, but instead of a massive universe shakeup with everyone being shuffled at once, I only swapped the purpose of two characters. Cyn and N, as characters stay somewhat the same: but N is the Absolute Solver Host. Cyn remains an innocent zombie drone girl. And the world is so much darker because of who N becomes.
I always wanted to see AM go on an AMAZO esk journey of self discovery. To found what it means to experience humanity for himself. Instead of being focused on how he can't. Or GLaDOS getting closure on her lifes purpose outside if cave johnson and his twisted idea if science. I would love to see a short serise of comica where J is just wondering around the universe. Seeing historical space landmarks of what was the predecessor to the drones. Humanity. I kinda suspected from ep5 she wanted a pinocchio tyoe scenario where she became a human. So her learning to respect her own kind and learning to let go and move forward to me sounds realy cool.
V is a Very complex character and a vary human character. Episode 8 cemented her as a defender, though she is only defending those she cares about (N is first and foremost, Uzi sneaked her way into it). Once you get past her abrasive exterior she is a good friend (much like Uzi, though Uzi's exterior is more edgy).
Yoooo, transformers and murder drones in the same video. Didn't expect this day to happen but it was sick regardless. I think that does sound like an interesting story arc though ^^
never cared for murder drones but in reality the original warriors and old era fighters and original soldiers will always be the strongest out of all of us the Ogs will always be on the top the strongest of all history the battle hardened veterans earned my respect all of them they will always be my idols the ones i look up to for strength and bravery they will always be the strongest alwaysssss......no one can chance my mind
Alright *Cracks knuckles Lets do this... So, putting a twist on the whole world in the form, inverting the Aspects of good and evil, specifically characters Is a REALLY GOOD IDEA. This makes way for interesting concepts for sure, you can take the Standard bad guys, and make em the good guys, and vice versa. I say YES, to this is a most interesting idea.. + I plan to take a break from my personal projects to make some plague doctor models to see how it goes, Ill keep posting status updates in this comment section Oh And to answer your first question... I did try to quote you on the "Cyn" design characterization, And im pretty sure thats the part that got flagged, So i just resigned to replacing it with "Cyn" :D but thats just RU-vid being RU-vid. I like,... somewhat, conceptually relate to Cyn on a very personal level, minus the whole eldritch thingy :D Cuz like myself, shes effectively disabled in comparison to the other drones in ep "Home", not quite having her motoric control in check, The way she walked in ep 8 honestly gave me goosebumbs cuz it was uncannily accurate to how me, and people suffering of the same disability do (props to the animators) And how these things affect the mind, the absolute solver is (even though it was completely uninteded) honestly amazing representation of the trauma these things bring upon the individual, turning you into someone completely different, someone whos hard to understand, cuz the circumstances made your mind deviate so much from the standard, you can almost appear insane. i could go on, but halfway through writing this comment, ive begun to realize i might be pulling these comparisons from my rear end :D SInce none of them were really intended by Liam, and you have to ignore quite a few things for these to work, such as: - as the guy above me mentioned the killing of the drones - the eldritch stuff - the planet eating tendencies - the solvers powers - atd. But apart from that, id say this is actually pretty solid. Aight, this took a lotta courage to write, imma go second guess writing this for the next few days, and answer some comments in the meantime. + Still working on the Plague doctor model
