Don't get me wrong, so far most of uproots products have been very useful but the broom one, to me needs some adjustments.

I'm pretty much sticking with the handheld as well but may get the bigger one to cover more areas

Based on their videos you may have a point. According to the site, one side is for medium hair (angled at 45 degrees) fabrics, the other is for tough haired (angled at 10 degrees). The side I focused on in the video, which may have been the medium, works but it still doesn't deep clean like the original uproot. I feel because the metal combs are too far apart in the xtra it will only focus on cleaning the surface of the rug. I love the original for its deep cleaning capabilities.

The thought has occurred, she's mostly in some of my shorts.

I should get the max cause it covers more area that way. I'm not to sure about the groom kit my self either cause I would have to train my cat not to run away from the sound of a vacuum. She hisses at the Bissell pet vacuum every time I use it. 😅

Supposedly the grooming kit is very quiet compared to a vacuum and your pets will not be afraid of it. That's what the ads say at least lol.

Man I wish the xtra was just a longer version of the smaller one, having two edges closer together seems better- like the “closer shave” of having more blades close together on a razor

I wish it was for different material. I still don't recommend knitted or woven material, the harsh metal grated texture will eat that thing up. Its why I recommend Molly Paw's silicone version of the uproot. Because of its soft material, its a lot kinder to linen and knitted material. I think the reason that it has two different angles is probably stairs vs rugs. The angles side picked up the hairs but I couldn't see what the other end was doing unless it picks up hair and lint on a deeper level. Let me know should you choose to purchase this. I personally find it more time consuming than going down on my knees and using the Uproot pro tool. Because of this conversation, I may actually do a race having my brother help me out. But I have to wait cause my rug as not been as fury as before in a while. I may look into the grooming kit too cause I wanna see if its not as loud as they say it is. Honestly, that's the reason why I got the Xtra was for my aching back. But when I use it, my shoulders are killing me (maybe cause I don't use those muscles I don't know lol) But it wasn't working for me, but if that Grooming vacuum kit, (which also has a deshedder ) isn't noisy I will use that cause it has a part to clean rugs like the pro but I don't know how deep though so I look forward to trying it out.

That's why I love the original one, but I'll get the bigger version so it covers more ground.
