I actually love the Triplus Textsurfer's tip better than regular highlighters, it helps me make better lines without putting a lot of pressure, and it makes hand lettering so easy. It's perfect for taking notes, since you can write headers, key words AND highlight with the same pens. I hate the shape of the Stabilo Boss because i can never highlight clean lines and it cramps my hands so bad. Sometimes they even go flying out of my hands because i need to grip them so hard.
@@manarin4184 Way Of the sword I'd say it depends on the paper but it's pretty good. the ghosting is not too bad on notebook paper and even better on printer paper. Bleed through is almost non existent unless you press down too hard or go over the same spot multiple times.
@@lilyxx1318 I've had the boss for almost a year through my gcses, use them multiple times a day and they still work great! staedtler ran out after like 8 weeks, I love the stabilo boss so much more
I've had the stabilo for almost a year throughout my GCSEs and they are still going strong, no smudging, bleeding or hand cramps. I use them multiple times a day and they are showing no signs of wear. I had the staedtler ones for 8 weeks and then I had to get the stabilo ones as they had run out and bled through my notes. Stabilo is defo the way to go!
I personally really like the tip of the Staedler triplus. It allows me to only highlight the miggle part of the letter's height and there's something I like about that. On the other hand, it makes it a lot easier to write and underline with.
I suggest you to buy Staedtler Textsurfer . I bought a packet of Stabilo Boss and while the colors are great, the ink stains really too much. We cannot use them in important books or notes. While the Staedtler ones are really light comparatively and literally cause no smearing
Actually I can get Staedler pastel markers individually (2:16) and I live in a small town not in Germany. Also If you saw the slim Triplus pens (2:34) of them they said that they have more colours than the original ones but I found those colours with original design too. I have the gray pastel and brown pastel ones with the original design. :) Also their colours are more saturated and not leaving shadows at the end (0:51). I've been using both brands for really long time and personally I can say that Stabilo Boss are really good and worth the price but Staedler won the battle for me. Stabilo on the other hand have one of the best pens I've ever wrote with in my life. (sorry if there are grammar mistakes english is not my first language)
I prefer Staedtler highlighters because Stabilo higlighters are: - way too watery - they are ghosting so much that it is annoying - I don't have grip while highlighting with them - you can't put the cap on the highlighter and you can easily lose it Also, Staedtler highlighters come in a vintage pack or in a similar pack that is in this video but instead of yellow and green there is turquoise and grey highlighter.
As someone who used to eat into mildliner and uni propus window hype back in highschool, nothing will ever beat the anti-dry-out technology of Stabilo Boss for me. Having the flexibility of knowing whatever you do ink will almost never dry out on you is great. Sure it can bleed through paper a bit and can smudge. But using good smudge resistant pens (like the energel) and letting those dry properly will always yield good results. I recently got some of the new colors to add to my collection (ranging from the new ones to ones that are probably 7 years old by now). Good stuff, will probably still have ink when i'm post mortem
In Germany you can actually the steadlers individually AND they have a vintage variety too which the Stabilo don’t. IM 100% team steadler I use they textsirfers,fineliners,pencils and erasers on a daily Basis. Can you do a steadler brand line up one day?

Ha!!! Victory! I've finally watched a video here and didn't want to buy things immediately. Mostly because I already own the Stabilo mini set... and the zebra pastel mildliners... I'm finally ahead of JetPens for a change.
The staedtler ones are available individually too. On some countries! And the you said “staedtler with even more pastel colors” NO. The picture you showed of 10 staedtler thin textsurfers are the 6 pastels and the 4 VINTAGE pack. :) The 4 vintage also exist in the normal size! And also sell individually or in a pack! Personally, my winner is the staedtler thin textsurfers I find the normal tip too big for my letter! and in books..i highlight 2 lines accidentally when i use the big ones!
I have two Stabilo Boss highlighters and they work nicely. However the best gripping I know are the ones of BIC. The rubber handle is extremely comfortable to hold. But my top pick are still the ZEBRA Mildliners!

Could you do a video showing some great pens or headlighters for doing the anesthetic titles in note taking because if you don't use a good paper it's difficult to have something that doesn't show though, bleed, smear or smudge. And maybe some titles examples, please.

They sell the text surfers individually where I live I haven't seen the stabilo boss highlighters yet in stores here 2:33 I saw those colors with the normal high liters too 😕
'Textsurfer colors are lighter and brighter, if you want truly pastel colors, go with the Boss' Huh? I thought if the textsurfer is lighter, that would be the preferred option?
pastel is not synonymous to light. pastel colors are usually duller and more muted. textsurfers are brighter than the boss, which is why it's not as "pastel". keyword: bright vs muted.
I like stabilo but the ink just bleeds too much and itss so annoying. Thing is i find tht the pastel version are the ones tht bleed a lot but non pastels dont. Ugh
Staedtler highlighter now comes in too many colors and different body colors,shades of highlighters better ink that don't smudge anything that is mention in your highlighter comparision video and it's at best overall position and it's definitely better than stabilo boss
You should break up the bodies and see how much it's filled. Actually hopefully you can try how long it will last but I don't think you'll be able to write hunderds of meters :) so, it would be easy to break them and see what's inside.
