Which Path is FASTEST on Yoshi Valley 150cc? | Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 

Designs a track that allows you to go multiple ways only for half of them to be completely worthless

Never once in my Mario Kart career have I ever considered going anywhere other than the left bridge on Yoshi valley. It's all or nothing

I swear this is the first time I’m seeing these other sections of the track. I’ve only ever taken the bridge 😭😭

What if Nintendo wanted you to take all the paths? Maybe the real Mario Kart was the journey we take to the end.

Instructions unclear, I fell off the bridge right after the shock got me

First time i took the cannon i expected to go crazy, it just put me at the beginning of another slow path

Never really thought about it but I do always take the bridge

I don't think I've ever gone on any other path EXCEPT the bridge. Right after you cross the finish line you can just go into a really long drift to purple sparks, then release it on the bridge to shoot straight before you fall off the bridge. Super efficient

I've taken the Canon once on accident and I'm also always the only one that goes to the Cave.

If this track gets remade again, they should [re]make it so that every path is equally fast. EDIT: So the cannon is a viable bagging strategy?

I have played mario kart 8 deluxe since covid show up, and i have never seen those diferent paths until today

The tunnel path has actually been pretty useful for me in 1st. Especially if a blue is on my tail because the Blue shell just plain doesnt work in the section with multiple paths.

Imagine if the cannon route had a secret shortcut. I mean look at where the bend is next to. What a HUGE timeskip that would be.

I usually always go left to the cave, it's an easy and safe route to take. Even even I'm in first I still take it

Even back when this course was on the original N64 I always knew to take the number one path because I noticed that it gets to the part where all the paths converge the quickest

There’s a reason to go canon path it sets you up better for bagging and Yoshi Valley is a bagging track also nobody goes that way so you’re basically guaranteed 4-5 coins and a item

I like taking the second to last pathway you mentioned that leads to the tunnel. You get coins and is reliable, plus I always avoid a blue shell when it comes and the shell has to travel across the map to just even get to me again.

I just realized today, after about 25 years, that Ive always taken the left paths (the bridge near exclusively in mk8, except in 200cc). Ever since this race was made in N64 and I first played it as a 8 yo or so, it became clear to take that path since the CPU always takes it. Crazy how I had never seen so many paths to this day and never even wondered about it. 2+ decades later I see them for the first time ever, haha.

With how much I’ve played this track 3 staring the cup, I’m able to drift the entire bridge and get a huge speed boost after it.

I figured the shortest path was this one by myself on my third lap when playing this the first time lol. It just feels so much better and I always take it

I always go for the path to the right, then left (for those 4 coins) in the first lap. It’s not that much slower than going left & practically everyone I race with goes left at the start, so I appreciate the free coins 👌

I take the bridge because it was the OG best way back in 64. I do miss the mystery positions though.

The people who are saying the other paths are useless are wrong. By taking the cannon path, it allows you to get an extra item which could be shock or Bullet. This track is great for bagging from my experience

When I’m playing online, I usually go to the canon on the first lap because I get a better item and I feel sorry for that bit of track because no one else ever drives that way

The best part is choosing a path when the blue shell takes another and is going at a different speed so it has to go around another lap
