Pokémon Adventures Scarlet and Violet have officially been confirmed and will be starting in October so i thought it’d be fun to discuss what characters i believe could potentially return or cameo in this arc.

I do hope Yellow makes a reappearance in Paldea, because her character and gimmick is very unique. She would’ve single-handedly talked N out of Team Plasma.

Ehhh I actually doubt it. Rereading her arc, she isn't as strong as her skill set would have us believe. She generally got carried largely by other characters and the plot handed her a power up to really beat Lance....even tho she'd made no combat improvements at that point in her arc...

@@LeavanDragon I mean I'd argue her ability to form strategies is on par with reds- she just doesn't have as strong Pokémon

@stanleydude3340 hmmm I'd actually have to disagree. I think early in the arc she showed that potential, but as it went on I think her pacifism really played against showing her strengths, especially since her pokemon were already weak as is. She doesn't really have much legitimate battles where she wins without help. I think she's good at evading, but fighting is still below red unless the next arcs on my reread change my mind. Like in her original arc, alof times other characters appear to help her to give opportunity. Such as the supernerd battle. Her being given pokemon and not taking blues training the way he intended also didn't help.

Yellow should appear as a Nurse for Blueberry Academy since we don't have stuff there. It is perfect for her.

Diamond and Pearl can't make a better comedy to Gold, all though I really liked Gold as he is my favourite dex holder, I wished Yellow to return one day 🙏

I hope Yellow. The other three Kanto Dexholders have reappeared. And she could possibly be a good role model for the new heroes. Plus she and Red are my favorites.

I love Yellow & her chapter in the manga. I hope she gets more exposure, but TPC has been cutting down on returning characters in these last few years, both in the games & the manga

I honestly think it would be interesting if we saw both Yellow and Emerald considering their both manga protagonists. Plus, seeing both interact with the past and future would be nice to see as the past are more natural animals which Yellow would pair while with the future ones are machine beasts which Emerald would pair well with. Plus, it's interesting seeing their struggle to calm the paradox Pokemon down.

I don't think it's a TPC mandate or whatever. There's just too many characters now and not enough time or space to squeeze them in on top of all the new stuff to cover. The anime has had dozens of returning characters in the past couple years for instance, cause not as much was going on in that front

I’m really glad i found a channel that focuses on the pokemon manga because I’ve been obsessed with it since I was a kid. Hopefully Pearl or Diamond come back, they’re my favorites :)

I miss the Sinnoh trio so much, man... Hopefully somehow they'll figure out a way to incorporate them into the story, since a Legends Arceus pokespe adaptation becomes more and more unlikely as time passes

Honestly I can see all three fitting in this arc. For example, Platinum can serve the role as the main mentor of the main character meaning we met her first. Diamond we met second he's working part time at a sandwich shop. And could help Arven out with the Titans to get humanities. And Lastly Pearl will meet last. He's Pearl would be working as a part time teacher at Blue Berry Academy with his dad to help train the Elite Four of the academy.

I think I would want Sun to appear here too for three jobs. Job number one the collecting the Gimmighoul Coin, Job number two delivering the elemental rings from Ulitma needed to teach the Sinnoh trio the Ultimate Moves, and Lastly learn it himself and knowing Sun he's not the brightest so it's going to take awhile to learn but it's for money so he'll do it ( I though that would be a pretty funny gag). Moon will get a mention she already learned and is now taking on the island trials to look for a lot different berries to help her with medicine.

The only one that has actual chances of returning is a bit crazy, but it's Nate. On the Manga, he is called Blake(or Lack-Two) and it's a International Police Member(it was dispensed mid-arc of B2W2, but readmitted on the end.), so if something big as Koraidon/Miraidon Fight at end of SV games, happens on the Manga, it's the perfect time to he be back. "But he doesn't interfere with those major blow in other regions" He disguised himself as Colress and give Beast Balls to Lusamine, in Sun and Moon. As some trainers cause trouble on SV, it's a good reason to he be assigned for a mission there.

The Berlitz family being 200 years old does allign with the events of Legends as well as Heath's expeditions. Platinum could compared Area Zero to BDSP's HIdeaways! Sun is a nice choice. We need to see Agatha IMO. Yellow is long due. She could've been in Alola due to Raticate & Golem or even Galar due to Chu and Butterfree. X and Y could learn about Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant. Gold is cool, maybe having Crys for Walking Wake.

If it's the Sinnoh trio, then I hope we can see Ultima make an appearance to teach the three of them the ultimate moves now that's long overdue other Dexholders besides the ones from Gen 1-3 learning Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, and Hydro Cannon. Or she can Use Sun as a delivery boy here would be perfect because it could be his job. He gives each one of the Sinnoh trio elemental rings, and he gets to learn Blast Burn himself to get a huge payday.

I think Henry Sword might make an appearance in the SV chapter, when the SS chapter ended he planned on going to Paldea to catch a Tinkatink.

So I think it’s gonna be someone from the second generation of Pokédex holders or someone from the 5th generation of Pokédex holders. With the paradox forms of the swords of justice and legendary dogs I could totally see someone from those groups coming back.

If Gold returns, we should see him first in the story; then, we can see Crystal teaching the younger students at the academy how to catch Pokemon. Or she could be on a field trip with the kids she usually cares for on Kitakami field trip. Silver, I can't see coming back. He should be mentioned as a cameo. Or he can contact Gold and Crystal about any potential problems he and Professor Oak found involving the paradox version of the two beasts (Walking Wake and Raging Bolt).

If we get paradox Entei for Unova remakes, Silver can appear there. He is a good mentor for Blake if this happens. I can even see him teaching him Hydro Cannon . Which wouldn't be must of a challenge for Mr. Perfect.

4:27 Wouldn't that be better for the game's 30 years? So for the gen 10 adaptation? Platinum would make sense if she returned in that arc IMO. Like you said, because she's interested in history and because PLA and BDSP didn't get an adaptation. Maybe Sun could come as well, it would be funny to see these two interact.

I think maby Red and Blue can be refrenced because in the games if you walk into the pokemon center/gas station/whatever it is there are some "ads" on the top and 2 of them made a refrence to Red and Blue

Feel like Sodou would be returning, especially since in the last chapter for swsh, Sodou is seen talking abt tinaton line and gom gg on his own adventure. And since future paradox pokemon themselves are konda loke pokemon gear, sort of, i guess due to their mechanical body, i can see sodou being fasinated by them as well.

As much as I’d LOVE to see Yellow return, the only return that TRULY makes sense to me here is Platinum. With her love of history, it would TOTALLY make sense for her to turn up to see ‘The Great Crater’

I can’t wait for the scarlet and violet manga to come out. I’m assuming that they’ll combine the story of scarlet and violet together in it, which will be so cool. I hope they have a fight at the end where the main characters team up to defeat both of the ai professors.

0:44 You translated it wrong as an spanish native speaker, the r you have a bit more strength to the r and the double ll sounds closer to how in spanish we pronounce closer to the y in spanish. So something like A-ma-ri-yo in terms of pronunciation in spanish. Btw, the double rr would be that you linger a bit more on the rr which means it gains more strength.

Unrelated, but I've wanted to read the Pokémon manga for a long time and I've even purchased the first 7 volumes. But I've heard that it gets REALLY bad. Is that true? If it is, can someone tell me that from which volume it starts to get bad? The manga is like crazy expensive here.

It’s not true at all! The manga definitely does get less good as it goes on due to less time available but it’s by no means bad at all if it’s expensive for you then you should definitely be more careful with the purchase but I do recommend it it’s a great read or you can find it online through other means

My head canon is that everyone who has special abilities r ppl who r descendants of fallers. Aka ppl who have gone through ultra wormholes. The reason y is bc Looker n Annabel the first Fallers we r introduced to have special powers bc they “fell”. Looker has the ability to go to different universes/dimensions he states he has gone to a world w.o Pokémon. A world were they where games aka our world. N Annabel has the power to attract strong Pokémon to her as we r told in sun n moon. So I think yellow being able to control/communicate with Pokémon is bc she is related to a caller from past. Lance can also control Pokémon n heal them. So I think he has a faller relative probably one closer since his Cuzin from the dragon gym in jhoto Clair doesn’t have powers in the manga or anime I think psychic trainers who have psychic powers r also kinda descendants of older Fallers. Idk if ppl who time travel get powers but I doubt it bc the twin from black n white doesn’t get any in legends Arceus n we don’t either.
