Bhai meri baat dhyan se suno... Banking is the worst possible job. Tumhari poori life gobar ho jaegi ...Zinda laash bn jaoge. Koi authority responsibility follow nhi hota... Saari zimmedari daal dete hain. Chhuti lene me g*nd ft jati hai... Risk hadh se jyada hai.. koi timing nhi hai... Abhi tumhe lg raha hoga "job to hogi atleast ...mahine ka 60-70 aa jaega...respected feel karunga" to bhai sun lo experience se baat kr raha hu .... Paisa aa jaega lekin kharch krne ka time nhi milega...Ghar parivaar se hamesha due rahoge (ye Mt sochna ki 3-4 saal out of state posting kaat k wapas home state aa jaunga, ....qki transfer policy if fully corrupted..) . Mai demotivate nhi kar raha reality bata raha hu.. aur isliye bol Raha hu taaki tum 2-3 saal mehnat krne k baad aisi job me na ao jaha aate hi narak jaisa Lage aur har din sochna pade ki kya karu ki is narak se nikal jau .. agar tumhare paas koi 2nd option hai jaise ki SSC ya MBA to bhai trust me ..isse lakh Guna better hai ..Shayad tum iss Puri baat ko ignore bhi kar do but Mera farz bnta hai tum sab hard working aspirants ko ek reality check Dene ka... Banking jitni bahar se chill lgti hai ..andar se utna hi bekar aur wahiyaad naukari hai.. Baki aap aur bankers ka viewpoint zaroor puchna is job ki taiyari krne se pehle... Sirf paisa Mt dekho.. baad me tumhare dost tours trips ki reel daalenge aur tum kisi rural area me passbook print kar rahe hoge. As per some sources Worst Bank as per HR and transfer policy 1) Canara Bank. 2) Bank of Baroda and Indian Bank 3) Central Bank of India and State Bank of India 4) Bank of Maharashtra. 5) Punjab National Bank and Bank of India. 6) UCO, PSB, IOB, Union bank of India.

I have PO friends in UCO , Union Bank both got home state posting in starting itself, one friend SO IT in Central Bank of India she also got home state. For Me Canara Bank ...Got posting in karnataka from North.

@@iamshubhamkaushikmusic In PO also they does not give transfer or change the circle till you reach Scale 4 or 10-12 year of service. Only difference in PO, CBO is PO works in urban metro branch and CBO in semi urban and rural branch.

In PO All India transfers are there, so be ready for that aspirants. Just look for better growth & prospects. Perks & etc.

Even worse than transfer policy is how they manage a new joinee. I joined June 2024 and today on 5th August, still waiting for training which POs are required. My branch has 4 staff(1 BM,1 PO i.e. me, 1 new joinee clerk and 1 head cashier). On of the Saturdays, I and the new joinee clerk were supposed to be performing the duties of Vault teller and head cashier respectively as BM and Head Cashier were on leave. Cash handling is a type of work which should be done with due diligence, and we both being new had no idea as to how to handle cash, how to send and receive cash, how to reconcile the cash and how to close the drawer. I was stressed for the entire Sunday. Many a times, my BM comes to my cabin and asks me to give a queue of something that he hasn't taught me before and when I told him so he would in return say, "are aisa hai kya?" I've also been asked to perform a lot of big transactions so early in my career even the ones which I have not been taught about like loans. I don't know why they are not providing the necessary training a new joinee PO requires the most. Atleast SBI,BOB,PNB,Canara bank provides you training first then you are posted at your respective branches. Given I'm posted at a semi urban branch, the workload isn't very much even my BM told that you won't get to learn much while posted at this branch but my question is why not teach me whatever work is performed in this branch at first place.

My father had undergone 3 neurosurgies 3-4 months ago...there was a vacant post in our hometown in BOB so he applied as well as called multiple times in RO even the BM called on my father's behalf but at the end they transferred someone else (who isn't from here)... What else do you need to know about HR?

I completely agree with you, but what about genuine cases. We don't know in which conditions are their families going through. Paise to kama hi lete hai but jab family emergency ki baat aati hai tab Presence matter karta hai.. I work in canara bank still my branch is almost 900km from my home town..

Try to get into PNB. it still has somewhat better policies as compared to other banks. And yes, SSC/INSURANCE/REGULATORY BODIES exams should be the exams an aspirant should look to clear

@@30db77 branch head was doing financial irregularities and when I told him I don't support any such thing he starting making false complain against me to zonal head and since he had good connection with union and upper management they kept on believing everything he said and gave me show cause notice so I thought it'd be in my best interest to leave such shitty corporation.

Maybe but tum logo ko atleast starting mein training toh milti hai. Hume seedha branch mein daal diya hai and 1 week ke liye toh mene as a Vault teller bhi kaam kiya tha just after 1 month of my joining. Aur humari training bhi nhi hoti dikh rahi😢 na hi dhang se kuch sikhaya jaata hai

They will not give you marks in interview .. aap jitna jor lga lo age cut off se 30-32 marks upr ni hue tou selection he ni le paoge .. kyuki unko phle se pta hoga ur working as po in psb and have applied for the same post

You should try SBI PO then. I'll also be appearing in SBI PO this year and hopefully will clear it. I know the workload will be skyrocketed but still it is a good brand and has the least possibility of getting privatized
