I’m in the Aiport as we speak about to leave. And Riu Republica was definitely a party spot! We ended up going to the Jungle Party ! Love the beach and palm trees as well
I stayed at the Majestic mirage back in in 2019 and the beach was absolutely breathless white sand turquoise water and calm water and no seaweed .My best guess is that from time to time one beach could be better depending particular time year.
James, its an intriguing rating. Clearly size matters BUT loungers and shade (be it natural palm tree or some sort of a fixed umbrella) is pretty critical. So too is the space. I find some of the beaches the privacy is lacking given the loungers are pretty tight. I also like the beaches with the bolla beds.. It dies seem like you could build a whole other resort on the Hard Rock beach
@@Coolist Thanks again. This is the best Dominican Republic info channel ever. Your video & quality capture are exceptional. Love your camera movements as you pan the scene. Your info is to the point and very well explained. Your speech and self expression is awesome. You deserve to be on 1 million plus subscribers and I'm sure you will get there with quality vlogs like this.
Thankyou James you just made my day I've booked royalton punta cana and I am a beach bum..dreading sea weed and lack of sunbeds but if I'm lucky hopefully won't be an issue going in 50 days mid July 2022.
I am 54. My mother is 76. Our priorities are the beach quality and the food quality. We insist on a beautiful beach and excellent food options. We would like a bit of fun. We're old. So we're not partiers but we want some entertainment. We mostly want a boutique resort feel with a lot of quiet time. But, as I just said, we would like some entertainment. Room must be nice, but not the most important thing. So, I see you have a lot of experience in a lot of resorts. What resort would you recommend to this older mom/daughter duo? It must be all inclusive, too. With a spa. The best bang for our buck. Doesn't have to necessarily be in Punta Cana. Anywhere in the Caribbean. Thank you, Sir. :)
Help wife's birthday trip! In need of a newer resort with a great beach, looking at Lopesan but is there enough room to enjoy the ocean there? Looks roped off awfully close to the beach? Any input appreciated. Love Coolist but reviews I have seen.
hi james please when your next in mexico could you review the bahia princepe akumal . i would like to know where you rate it compaired to ambur cheers have a wonderful week .im serioulsly enjoying your reviews
I'm currently at Royalton Punta Cana. There is actually lots of seaweed in the water and on the beach. Not many people going swimming because of it. Maybe it depends on the time of year.
Barcelo Bavaro Beach is much nicer than the top 3 beaches listed here. Amazing clear shallow water that stretches for hundreds of yards out into the ocean. I have been to them all. Riu Republica is the funnest beach because of the bigger waves. All top 3 beaches here are very nice though.
Deped what you want in beach your ratings are. What is the point of your ratings when water is not calm and swimable, when you must fight with waves to stay up instead to relax and swimm. Ratings on any resort should be if beach water is calm and swimmable and how clean water is.
