You're the only RU-vidr I could find who was insane enough to go through this headache!... Thanks, Dave! (And thanks to your friend who as assisted with the timing tests).
I am watching alot of these postage scale videos. You're one of the only ones that measures the accuracy; good job. Just to add, maybe test if it can data transfer the weight to a computer. Good video though. Probably the best that I've come across on the tube. You basically concluded that the scales calibrate the same within their brand. Great piece of info. Great job.
I bought the munbyn… because it was fast and accurate… also to clear the hold … after you remove the item, just tap the top of the scale and it resets ! So munbyn is the clear winner lol
I'm having issues with my Accuteck right out of the box. You can tare it, and it will go back to -2 after a while. You can weigh a package one time, and it will come in at 8oz. Then you weigh the package again even after taring it out, and it will weigh like 4oz. It's all over the place, and you can't have that in a scale
Thanks for the info! You answered one of my many burning questions about a more timely and productive shipping process....a scale to use. Now, what type of printer and paper do you use? Can you do a video where you literally show us how to go on ebay and send the label to the printer and print the labels? Please :) Awesome video!!
For printing labels a thermal printer is the only way to go, Dave I don't think that would be something you'd want to review because that would get expensive
You need objects you know the weight of to properly test them, like coins, bottles of water or actual calibration weights, putting a random object like the lava lamp on them is a bit pointless if they all give different readings, there's probably going to be a small variance anyway but it should be small, not by 2 ounces.
GREAT VIDEO! I HAVE PURCHASE A LOT OF SCALES AND SOMETIMES THEY HAVE THE LOADING DELAY OR SOME TROUBLE WITH HEE ACCURACY AND PRECISION. I DON'T LIKE THE WAITING TIME AND ALL THAT STUFF AS WELL. AFTER WATCHING YOUR VIDEO I BOUGH THE ULTRASHIP AND THE DYMO. THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUR TIME MAKING THE VIDEO!!
👉 I just bought the ultra ship 75 pound version for just $47 with cord includes free shipping from Amazon. Do not use the links on this RU-vid channel as they took me to jacked up prices.
heres a tip about the first scale you tried that had a separate readout unit. blue display you didnt like...... i never turn mine off. it plugs in the wall and does not time out. it sits here forever turned on, 24/7. so you dont have to worry about boot up time for it. maybe some of your other scales do the same, so boot up might not be a big deal for some of them. i know yours is timing out there, but you can turn that feature off apparently, mine has been on for a few months now. ALSO......the munbyn.....does the tare button hold? like hold it down for 2 seconds to tare instead of pushing to turn off? or no? that would suck too, but better than cycling off.
Go for a big box scale that has the extension to pull the reading out from under a bigger box... and a smaller scale for smaller envelopes... experience speaking. Good luck! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹
This was some great information and thank you for taking the time. I agree with the gentlemen below. I would like to see from start to finish. Weighing measuring getting on e bay and printing labels and what kind of paper you use. That would help us newbies a lot. Again thank you for taking your time to do this.
Here is a trick I use to make the space of the scale wider and bigger. I get a piece of wood like a flat thin piece of wood or a board and I weigh the wood by itself. I right down the weight of the wood right on the wood. Then, I weigh the item I want to weigh on top of the wide piece of wood. I then subtract the weight of the wood from the over two pieces. Done.
I'm using Etekcity kitchen scale I paid $15 for up to 50 lb I'm using only to weigh my eBay items and it does a really good job for accurate weighing everything.
That electronic compact scale (stuck in the 80s) is similar to mine. It works really well but the screen is covered anything bigger than the pad itself which sucks. I'm going to get the Amazon $24 buyer recommended one with a screen that sits off to the side and keep my current one for smaller items. Thanks for all the feedback sir
This video is just what I needed! THANK YOU. I had my Accuteck for 4 years and I feel like it is about to die, so I want to buy a new scale. Based on your review I think I will go with Ultra 55. I see you made this video 6 months ago, could you please tell me if after 6 months of using this scale you still like it? Or maybe which one of the 2 you selected you like better after using them for a while? Thank you.
😁Thanks for the in depth video. Prices by have increased since this video 😱 for some reason I thought the ultra came with the power cord & batteries... Amazon says no! 👍🏾
⚠️ WARNING⚠️ Some Amazon sellers for some of these links noticed they were getting a lot of extra orders from the links on this RU-vid channel. So they jacked up their prices. Simply manually shop theses scales for best price. I just bought the Ultraship 75 Lb instead of the 55lb, with power cord for just $47 on Amazon with free shipping. 02.04.2023
You were comparing decimal pounds to pounds/ounces with the lava lamp. 5lb 6 ounces is 5.375 pounds. The two weights are the same, but you were mis-reading the ounces as decimal pounds as if they were supposed to be the same when they are completely different units of weight.
For anyone else, I have the accutech with the remote display, and I don't like it! the connectors for the display come undone all the time by just enough to affect the connection so it reads inaccurate but not enough to be obvious. took me a long time to figure this out.
A proper hold button should let you press the button before weighing the item. Then when the weight stabilizes, you get a beep and remove it. You shouldn't have to reach under the item to get to the button. That's just bad design.
I love my scale it’s a cheap one only thing I wish was it had a separate screen like Commonwealth pickers scale so when I have a big package I don’t have to balance it to see the screen underneath.
Or you can go for the beginner series of... my mom holding the box standing on the bathroom scale... then minus her weight without the box and before she rehydrates! 🤣😂🤣
That really is impressive how the black one weighed so quickly and came up with the same number each time. I dont like wishy washy scales!! Lol What are you gonna do with all the scales you dont like? Just return them or sell them?
Any of you guy have at least a year using a postal scale for small bags with accurate reading(oz) less than a pound parcels, by self experience instead this ad?
After doing my RU-vid review for the weighmax… and giving it an ok grade.. I have used it like 3x.. and it’s getting where to updates info so slow and terribly inconsistently.. I’m going to update the review. I’d stay so far from this thing
The "This is not a toy"" statement has nothing to do with the item inside the bag. It is a suffocation warning about the bag itself. it is so people will not let their kids play with the bag cause it can kill your baby.
