I have the A7, A77mkII and the A58 (first camera I bought in the sony line and my first camera is the dslr/slt camera) personally the A7 I found offered alot of the same features + more then the A99, and I still wanted video and focusing speed so I decided against a7r and went with the A7 as it seemed more versatile I just got the A77mkII for nature and sports shots personally im loving the sony camera's at the moment

Gary - thanks for your reviews! I just purchased the Sony A77II; I had only questioned the Canon 70d and Nikon 7100, and was heart set on the 70D. But after I stumbled upon the A77 I was immediately impressed with the autofocus for both still and video modes.!

That's all you said about a99? Just for video?????? Come on man a99 is the most all around among them( full frame sensor , dual focusing , heavy built body,and etc). Most pro who shoot sony use A900 and upgrade to a99 . You are not doing a good job on recommending sony cameras. You sound more inclined to the latest models but please be honest! A99 is def more than what u just said about. It's still the flagship camera for Sony. I am a sony shooter and if I have to pick one of them for " photography" I def pick a99! People please don't listen to him cuz he probably get paid to promote the newest models.

I have the a77 and a99 and I love'm both. I love the MKII but I can't justify investing in it right now.

Thanks Gary always love your info. I have an A77 and I am a novice and really love sports photography. I just seen to find the quality of the images to never be truly crisp. I have an original Sony Alpha A100 and the image quality using the same lens almost seems better. Is using the older Sony lens hurting the image quality in my newer camera? Thanks

Gary - In one of your videos you mentioned that one of these cameras auto focuses on the eyes. However I don't remember which video nor which camera. So could you mention which one(s) has these feature?

Quick question for you or anyone who has had experience with this. I currently own an A77 and am purchasing an A7R. I have quite a bit of A mount glass, so the LAEA4 is a must. My question is this: should I continue to invest in A mount lenses? The A77 has some important features that are superior to at A7R and I will definitely continue to use it for certain shooting conditions and as a backup in my bag. I will be getting a standard zoom E mount so I'm not stuck on the adaptor, and will continue to purchase E mount lenses, but it is important to maximize my flexibility, especially since I already own a lot of great A mount lenses. Is it worth it to continue buying a few key A mount lenses to fill out my range across both camera bodies or would I be better off using that money for E mount glass?

hi sir I would like to upgrade a58 to a99 for wedding photography purposes, is it a99 is better for wedding photography? also like to buy zess 24-70 f2.8. I am now beginner in wedding photography... some of my photography friends told to buy Nikon D750. I am totally confused about a99 or D750.. please advise sir..I know definitely your advise help me..

The a77 ii has just been discontinued, i have the a6000 is the tracking that much better in a77ii and if not hats replacing the a77 sureley it cant be the a7r ii for 5 k

Hello, I have a question, I made some video on 16-50 kit lens on this camera, however, the video corners are very stertchy looking and the distortion was very much. Is this something can be corrected on the fly in the camera for video ? (I know there is some lens profile level correction provided for still images). Here is quick sample of video I took ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6LRcHOGZOB8.html watch out for washer in the video. I am very disappointed after looking at this distortion, can you please advise.
