In school I was constantly taking apart pens, chewing on them, and putting them back together again. Lots of little parts in there to choke on. Not too surprised.

The reason that pens have those really tiny holes on the bottom of the pencaps is so if someone chokes on it, they’ll be able to breathe through the hole at the bottom
