I'm so glad Nintendo kept this in; coming from someone who has never ever owned Mario Kart Wii. I now have such an amazing track to race on with a massive shortcut I mastered yesterday. Nobody can beat me in that course now!

I mainly do it with Inside Drift, Barely landing at the edge flinging me up into the air, Getting another turbo charged in that brief moment then landing in the center of the track with a boost

One time I did the gap jump and I landed on the cliff so weirdly that I got launched on top of the mushroom with the toads to the right of the finish line lmao. I even clipped it. Edit: It’s in my channel if you want to see the clip

Before I used the bullet bill in lap 2 and 3 (on the gap jump) and then it just fall down and GONE

I'm the time trialing mushroom gorge and gets gap jump all 3 laps and then the kart randomly 180 degree turns to face the gap right after the 3rd gap jump bc the controller sucks and the game hates me type of person, anyone else?

I'm kinda doing the wr cut since i found a pretty consistent setup

I'm an inside drift gap jumper, so in other words, I've got a 10% chance of it actually working. Edit: Fellow inside drifters, don't be discouraged. Despite the strange (and annoying) absence of footage on youtube, the "play it safe" gap jump is 100% possible for inside drift bike, without going into the offroad. I've been able to do it 3 times in a row for time trial using the jet bike. The location to aim your drift is not the same as karts, so the guides we have for the gap jump (which are all for outside drift vehicles) will not work. So if you want to do the gap jump with an inside drift bike, you're going to have to grind it out all on your own, good luck! (Also the normal gap jump is likely possible with inside drift too, provided someone will take the time to grind it out)
