Like the other comments, if you can keep the three then great. On a practical level, how comfortable are you with maintaining the older ones? If going forward you would not want to be messing about with too much maintenance, then keep the GTS. If you love getting down and dirty with the maintenance and that's what really floats your boat then you have a lot of thinking and contemplating to do!
I hope you're able to keep all three wonderful scooters, but if not, I think your choice is probably the right one. For practical reasons, my GTS sees more of the road, but my faithful standard PX200 stirs the soul in a way the GTS does not. It's the best of both worlds for me and I think you'll be left in a similar position. Good luck whatever you decide.
Nice video, you have made the correct decision in my view. Vespa GT has character and old school stylle and feel & you can always upfrage front brake etc, GTS a must for touring and practicallity/simplicity. Enginne out of the PX (sell it) back in with the 200 and sell her, all the best with your choice 👍👍
Thanks. i think I'd probably sell the PX as it is, it's a great combination of handling, power and style in my opinion. I'd possibly put a 200 engine in it if I wanted to keep the scooter, but the red GT is a decent scooter in it's own right and would be a shame to mess with it.
Sorry, I'd forgotten that the GT has a 200cc engine, so no problem there. There's a woman on RU-vid who posts videos of her European scooter tours. Her first tours were on a Honda Forza 125. This year she plans to go on a Suzuki 110cc scooter because it's lighter, and because she's getting older. I guess it's all about what we are happy with. I used to go touring on 1200cc motorcycles, but now I'd rather go on 300cc scooter. I wish that I'd discovered sooner that you don't need a big heavy motorcycle to tour on. The simple reason for that is because I get more enjoyment doing it on a scooter. Here's a thought, I think a lot of people, myself included, could benefit from your own experience of touring on scooters.. What I mean by that is a video on things like, luggage, how to pack, what to take, and what not to take, etc. Just a suggestion, hope you don't mind.
I would keep the PX. Some years ago, I wold my PX because of a move. Later, I bought a modern Vespa (ET4), but I always missed the PX, and I just recently bought another PX that has been completely restored.
Definitely that Chinese Vespa. Those real Vespas converted to electric if you wanted to, would be way more valuable as you probably know already! I converted all my Vespa and Lambretta to electric now they go 0-100kph in 1.2 seconds and top speed of 175 kph way better than the 2 stroke motors could ever do for me and more importantly, not a single break down in 10 years! Ride on mate!
