I guess its going to be similar to burn mechanics in boss fights like Akkha where the burn only lasts for a couple of seconds, meaning you would just have to tank it.

Lmaoo 😂 💯. They keep adding harder and harder content. So naturally is stronger and stronger weponds, stronger prayers and ultimately a stronger player. Like everyone was excited for torva when it came out. No one hates masori or ancestral so why are they still shying away from "power creep"

Filling more niches is what OSRS design philosophy is all about. Trying to make every single update give amazing BIS gear is a 1 way ticket to power creep

@collinbrown9233 what's wrong with power creep. The game is suppose to progressively get more difficult.

Tbf the firelight has no charges and is a fairly sizable accuracy upgrade over arclight in both slash (+32) and stab (+53), while also having +5 str bonus vs arclight. The bow is said to outdo bowfa on demons. Could also be used as a decent pking mainhand as it has a spec bar, 40 range str bonus, 4t on rapid, and uses dragon arrows. The staff though, yeah that seems dogshit. I cant even think of a use case there

Bro not every single new item or reward added into the game needs to be the new BIS items holy.. Leave those new BIS weapons and armors for new Raids.

It's that simple. why else would be have best In slot iteams? No one needed a blow pipe or a twisted bow. But they added it into the game but why??? The awnser is simple. To add more difficult monsters

You're getting new BIS weapons for Duke Sucellus, Cerberus, Sire, Demonic Gorillas, Krill, and any future Demons or demon bosses. Seriously, what more do you want? BIS weapons and armor from every new quest that they're going to release?.. I'd much rather have great niche weapons that are amazing at a handful of bosses compared to weapons and armor that are outright BIS anywhere and everywhere from a singular quest.

@@DoGoonStuff Not everyone has 700 days of playtime with 10b in gear. What percentage of the OSRS player can afford a damn near 2 billion GP weapon, like 1 or 2%?.. These weapons will be BIS for like 98%to 99% of players. Save the actual BIS weapon and armor upgrades for upcoming raids, not from a singular quest.
