Someone was smart enough to require life jackets for all boaters. Thank you whoever you are. You are making good memories and not memories about tragedies.
The lake life, that is the best. That was some great shots of the kids swimming in the sunset, that would be one for the wall. Looked like some nice pike, was that really big fish a musky ?
That is a fine family get away if there ever were one Ian! Sure makes up for all those cold, snowy, long wintry mornings and days that are now a relic of the past. Happy Vacation! -Bob...
A well deserved break Ian. Good memories going forward. A time to replenish and rejuvenate oneself amongst family. A fantastic nectar flow here in the North Okanagan thanks to co-operating weather.
I do miss going down the river in the canoe to help Grandpa make liquor . When he got up in the age he cannot really see no more he used to ask me to take him to the woods and I would and before I knew it he would send me on a sugar run he would stay a whole week in the woods. I really hate not making sugar runs for him no more
Surveyed the Canada / US border there and along the rainy river system years ago. One of the fella’s on our crew parents owned a bee keeping business in the area.
After our rotten spring, be glad you weren't ice fishing! I think it was '96 my in-laws augered through 13" of ice for the fishing opener north of Grand Marais.
Lol I better get this all figured out so I can correctly edit the comments ha ha We were just catching Jack. That big one that we tossed back in looked like it had seen a few fishing hooks. Good fighter though.
