Haha your kart will be very different to Sodis as you say. Just need to be as smooth as possible and changes of direction especially round fast corners need to be swift!

Hey, cheers for the sub. How much braking depends on the corner, most of the time I'm fairly heavy but not usually full wack as the kart would become unpredictable. At least 3/4 on the brake pedal for the corners that require braking, just need to be careful with Ashby (downhill right hander). Only other proper corner where I'm flat out is last corner i'd say... Being fast out of corners relies a lot on good kart placement

Haha cheers I love the new suit :) The camera is still the same one I've been using since 2015 but I've found a new way of getting RU-vid to upload the video in higher quality (by using a different codec) and it makes it look much better! Less pixelation! Unsure whether new driving style or because I haven't driven in awhile, guess we'll find out over time!

@@DanteDhillon Ahh ok! How do you do it? Because even tho I record at 4k60fps it never uploads to RU-vid that way, I have a video I just finished editing and getting ready to upload it but worried the quality won't be as good

@@nm-1-m159 I just checked your most recent karting video and it says it uses the better codec (I checked stats for nerds) (because the video quality once rendered is 2K or greater). All you can do is max out all settings in your editor and it'll use the better codec - if you upload in 1080p then it more than likely uses just the standard codec. There will always be a bit of pixelation (for now). Also ensure you selected the framerate as 60!

@@DanteDhillon I take it that's on pc right, I've done all my videos on my phone so far but would like the better quality so may try it on my pc, haven't got a clue about maxing out the settings tho lol 😂 thanks for the tips

This lap was a 56.967 - in a different session and kart I got a 56.6 with a few drivers going quicker still, so fairly kart dependant! But still good fun :)
