I like using that top edge that often comes away, if it's thick enough, for little whittles. I did an eagle's head not long ago from the 'scrap' off the bark. Thanks for a great video! That bark is beautiful!!!
Ive always seen the bark houses and would love to attempt one, im glad i seen this lovely ladys instructional video today.. thank you, it was great in sight to see just whats involved.
I had so many questions about Kathryn’s bark houses, thanks for this instructional video got my all answers. Kathryn you are amazing when I watched you doing art I wished instead of choosing to be a mechanics I should do something like that for live. Love you all love to watch your uploads when I watch you guys I feel so positive about everything 🥰
Does Catherine have instagram? Would love to see more of her work. This was a splendid presentation. All the different steps well prepared with example pieces. Only halfway in the video. I carved my second whimsical house a couple of weeks ago. They sure are fun and I came here to get some more and better ideas. My instagram: @roodborstcarving
@@intlassocofwoodcarvers At least a 100 dollars on top off the price just for shipping... I had the pleasure od carving some bark found by someone else and I found some myself but it no where near the thickness and density as they have in the US.
