I like classic names, but also love when people use unique names. My kids are Nathan, Luke (Lucas), Kevin, and Lydia. I have been in love with the name Lydia since I saw Mrs Doubtfire as a kid, lol. It’s such a melodic name. They all have middle names after family. Our last name is long and always has to be spelled so I wanted first names that everyone knows how to spell. My two miscarriages I named after the month they would have been due, so we call them February and June.

I have a friend who’s kids are named for places that have been important to them. They had a preterm baby who didn’t make it, her name was Figi (it’s also short for fighter girl because she fought so hard to survive). And their sons are Zurich, Israel, and Everest.
