It's 2023 and I am still in the honeymoon phase with this absolute unit. I heard they were maybe not very nice people but I always feel like this album is hugging me. 🦄 🌈 🍄 It is as if it were February, during a winter storm near the great lakes, the tremendous crashing of the grim waves, you are parked near the lakeside and smoking cigarettes with your lover who you are not ever sure will be there when you wake up, with the heater turned way up

This band just hits sadness and depression so on point musically that it’s ridiculous. This entire band is the embodiment of a winter seasonal depression and a youthful spring/summer love story gone wrong. I love this band so much ❤️

Whirr have you been all this time

This album grew on me. Now I can't stop listening. Each song has a decent distribution of listeners on lastfm, proof that it's definitely a solid album, and not a one hit wonder. I can't even choose a favorite.

rose cold is one of the best songs they've ever written. and the entire album feels like the end of a chapter in a book, now i can move forward

this album is my everything and whilst it is at its core super melancholic and depressing, deeply resonates with me musically and just makes me feel at peace whenever i cant sleep at night, i hope people discover whirr in the future and remember them as one of the greatest modern day shoegaze bands that ever came out of the 2010s period.. whirr for life x

Masterpiece, this album made me a bigger whirr fan. before I only liked some songs here and there but this album was something else. Vividly and Before You Head Off have comforted me in bad times ever since this album released. I hope they come back one day.

I've waited a long time to hear new songs. I almost died of the emotion of knowing that they are back and of hearing and feeling such a sublime reverberating sound in my head and in my soul.

I had my first experience with this album in a K hole at a friend's party. Had never tried ketamine before, this album had come out a few weeks before. The experience was hard to describe. When mellow kicked in, it was like I was floating in a void of colour. It was a spiritual experience and I'll never forget it.
