Let’s be honest, whis would probably not cry or have any sort of emotion due to his place in the universes. He knows what is good for the balance of his universe

Honestly I hope they keep Beerus around regardless of his position his voice and character is so amazing to have around.

Whis says something a bit different in the original Japanese version. Apparently bearus lost a arm wrestling match with that destroyer. Take that as you will. I think bearus is much stronger then people think. He thought vegeta the ultra ego as well. Also in the manga bearus fights all the other destroyers in a exhibition match in a royal rumble, and he seems to be ahead of them all for the most part.

As much as I would like to see Vegeta as the next one up there's really only one candidate that doesn't have anything holding him back...no family no love one nothing. Frieza. Frieza also has experience in universal control and everything that goes with it. Goku and Vegeta will always be there to check him and Whis to reverse things if needed.

Can't wait for ultra ego to be officially animated 😳😳

whis wont cry, all angels dont have these types of emotions as they are always in ultra instinct. a angel is meant to serve a god of destruction either until its replaced or killed so it would find another god of destruction.

Once Broly gets control. I can see him in Universe 6 as God of Destruction and Vegeta in Universe 7

Honestly it’d probably be Goku who’s chosen to be GoD because, most likely all GoD’s would have a meeting hosted by Grand Zeno and all GoD’s would vote on who to be next GoD. Though Vegeta would get the most votes, Zeno wouldn’t care and would just give the role of GoD to goku

Whis knows that there is more, WAY MORE, than our universes and what exist. He knows that all is one.

If they replace him, they should give him a higher position. Also there is the possibility for him to maintain relevant, just like Muten Roshi or Piccolo have shown throughout the series. He had an important impact on the main characters development. I hope they don't do him like Tien Shinhan or make him a running joke like Yamcha, that would be terrible.

There's so many fanfics of Vegeta becoming the next God Of Destruction that I think it would be a huge let down if it were anyone else at this point

Tbh, it would be a bad idea to make broly the new god of destruction for one, if he ever got to his legendary super saiyan form or wrathful, he'd be killing everyone and everything without hesitation

You know, there's a theory that Kid Buu (who has divine ki according to Dragonball SBS) was meant to be the God of Destruction before Beerus or possibly his successor. They're both ancient cosmic beings who all Kais fear. The theory goes that unfortunately, Buu proved to be insane, impulsive, and unpredictable, hence why he was sealed away either just before or after Beerus's time as Destroyer. Buu's divine ki and constant regeneration of body and energy made him unstoppable, with only the Spirit Bomb or Hakai being able to stop him. Even Freeza was wary of Majin Buu and placed him in same ballpark of power as Beerus himself.

If Whis says the universe 11 destroy is stronger than Beerus, why is it not believable? People believed it when Vados said Beerus was stronger than Choppa, so why is this not believable information? Sure the manga shows Beerus defeating all the destroyers, but that’s the manga, not the anime.

Vegeta becoming Beerus’ successor does seem like something he would consider and a rematch between Vegeta and Toppo, with the title and powers of a destroyer, would be interesting to see. Also it’s possible Whis would probably express some emotion upon Beerus being replaced since, much like Whis’ sister from universe 6, he shared a bond with his destroyer. Maybe even a bit sad as his sister from universe 10, as she was sad when her universe was erased in the tournament of power.

I think it’s overlooked on how Whis says he was Beerus’ trainer. So he’s already training the new one. It’ll either be Goku or Vegeta. Wouldn’t make sense to bring in someone he’s not actually training. Maybe Toryama finally gives Vegeta his due and makes Goku it because he always wants to fight, kind of how Beerus always wants to eat and Vegeta will actually be the Angel. Cause in the coming Arcs Vegeta trains on the planet where Goku learned Instant Transmission and since Whis and that planet are the only time Vegeta has taken training under someone I think he surpasses Goku.

This is my own fan opinion. I think that if zeno gives Vegeta, beerus job I would want/think that's whis would chose Goku as his angel successor if that were to happen. That way Vegeta is a God of destruction and Goku is an angel god of justice/creation. This is my own personal opinion on the matter

There's no way that Broly would take Beerus's place as destroyer. It wouldn't be safe, and he doesn't have the heart for it. Since Broly is more... temperamental... than most... he would easily destroy the universe with that amount of power.

Beers has been a big part of the anime and movies and probably wouldn't be replaced. Even if he did UE or TUI just aren't strong enough. The most plausible replacement would be gohan, piccolo, or frieza.
