I loved Sundays on floor was rock with May Potts? A hip hop floor. And retro floor with Martin streak. I believe they also had the roof open in summer. Great times, great memories no where like that anymore.
I grew up listening to Martin's live-to-airs on edge102: Friday at the Kingdom, Saturday at the Phoenix, and Sunday retro night at Whisky Saigon. Those nights had a huge impact on me! I miss Martin.
This is so special. I used to go there all the time in the 90’s. Especially seeing the interview of the late Martin Streek whose death was a tragic loss.
Back in '98-99 I used to hang out in the DJ booth with Martin. I played pool with him several times on the first floor at W/S. He was a REALLY good player. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing a few years later. At least he had the 'Spirit of Radio' behind him. CFNY 102.1

The real heroes of that place were the bussers and bar-backs. If you worked there, you know why... Especially when they opened the rooftop patio during the summer.
