Whiskey Two Four definitely makes some awesome stuff. It's cool for companies to collaborate with each other or at least give credit where credit is due.
i would keep the ac1 regardless. depending on your situational needs, a slick carrier is good to have even as a backup or for friends/family even if you switch to a more load-bearing carrier
I kind of caught on to the price. At $85$, that is nearly half the price of a nice carrier. I understand good gear costs good money, but at the same time, it is hard to justify this solution over something more dedicated.
I am and AC1 owner, but I still can't get plates for it in my state 😅. I do kinda wish the plate sizing was a bit more flexible. PS. Not the end of the world. I will grab some plates for it when I get out of this state.
I'll admit my knowledge on plate carriers is limited. But I'm curious why anyone would want mollie on their back. I would think it would be more useful to have a pack with clips and velcro to hold it in place so it would be easier to get off in the field without taking your entire PC off. Just curious. Hoping to be able to afford an AC1 soon. I enjoy these vids though, showing how to take something like the AC1 and turn it into more. I would like to see a back panel, that designed to be completely & 100% wearer accessible. obviously by the wearer without having to take it off! Let's face it, like you mentioned, most generally we won't have team!
any PC that can take the load can be adapted to take a pack with adapters, DM Recondite, Shaw Concepts PCP, Haley Flatpack, Yote packs, literally anything that can take strap adapter kits by haley or defense mechanisms can be mounted to the pc and detached and attached solo.
I’ve only been able to find a Haley backpack I want that back panel for the ac1 that’s shown in the video anyone know where I can find (link would be nice😅)

If you hate trex then why are you here watching them lol, also the ac1 is a slick carrier not meant for carrying weight so obviously it’s shit at that, just like an AVS would be shit to conceal or carry around all the time 🤦♂️.
