I have a ton of stories about nightclubs and high-end strip clubs. One of my assignments was as a doorman at a high-end strip club. The owner would buy 6 bottles of something like Inglenook Rubicon Red Wine. He would have them kept next to the well-water. Before opening, he would re-bottle them into a no-label bottle for himself, and then refill with $10 bottle of crap. So now he has a $10 wine, in a what, $250 bottle. Then about 10pm he would talk about this great deal he found on $800 bottles of wine for $600, seeing he made sure the party he was talking to was in the bottle, eyes getting heavy and bingo, he sold all 6, at $600ea. Meanwhile, the customer just paid $600 for a $10 wine. I wanted to take him in so bad, but I wasn't there for that. We were looking for a sex trafficking and drug bust.
