A true classic narrated by a wonderful narrator. Hearing English people narrate this story is amazing. It sets the scene so well! I love this story. I howled in laughter when I heard James read this to a bunch of students on Christmas Eve. He would be run out of the building and hauled off by the police if he did that today. Thanks, Tony, for narrating this true gem of a story. Well-done!

I read all of MR James when I was a kid. Iwas a weird kid. Btw, I wonder if any narrator will be able to discern an East Anglian accent, where the stories are set, from the ubiquitous 'Mumerset'.
