Dimash does it live on stage compared to most of this other musicians doing it in the studio. Plus it's not just about he's range, he is way more versatile as he can change register at ease. He's unique.
Dimash didn’t slide up to D8(in unforgettable day song), he just hit it, which is, imo, very difficult to do and ridiculously impressive, not to mention that he sustained that note . Dimash is just unreal.
@@taekait yes he said in an interview he missed the note before & the D8 was not done on purpose - to me that's even more impressive b/c it was sustained, w/ vibrato & there was no slide up.... these really high notes sound terrible (IMO) it's a tribute to Dimash's insane work ethic that even when he does something crazy by accident his razor sharp technique is still present This is what makes Dimash levels above any other living vocalist - he's got Michael Jordan's maniacal determination to be great & the withering work ethic to make it happen.....

@@skyhyungnuevo3337 no he is not!, his belts are pretty good too, and most of the time he belt his neck is up his head is a bit tilted upwards that is why the strain come off, other wise his belt are awesome as well
Dimash deffinetly took the cake with that D8. I don't think any other singer on this planet at the moment can sing such a powerful whistle in the 8th octave, especially not with vibrato, nor hold it that long.

It’s because of her nodules, they are what allowed her to easily use the whistle register and they allowed her to manipulate the texture of her whistles(make them sound soft, piercing, airy, etc.). She had a good technique but overuse and alcohol is what did the most damage.
Apparently the person with the highest range is a bass who can sing 10 octaves and can sing lower than the human ear can hear. Dimash definitly biggest range for everyone except that bass.

The biggest difference between Dimash and all the other vocalists is, he sustained that note in perfect pitch. All the others who achieved the highest notes couldn't hold their note but briefly. Not that Dimash's D8 is something a song writer would or could use, it's just interesting how many are applauded for their one high whistle note that in reality ain't much to speak of. Dimash's range and perfect pitch is also far different than all other singers save Minnie Riperton and Mariah Carey. Dimash is in a place all his own.

@@bestvocalsbyvocalists849 A whistle on inhaled does not have such a density, and cannot have vibrato, because it is not possible to control it. And Dimash adds vibrato, this is a whistle on the exhale.
@@paulvolkmann2979 mariah’s top note that is recorder is b7 and her voice teacher said that her voice went easily over the top note of the piano which is c8, mariah didn’t use her highest whistles in songs because it doesn’t sound that good
@David Oviedo The density of Dimash whistle is much better than others. And Dimash is the only one who added vibrato at this frequency and kept more than 5 seconds. This requires much better control than others. I am sure Dimash could also make riffs/runs on lower whistling notes like other. Dimash is the best.

Its not just about the whistle, some of them went higher than dimash. But its about the context and they way the singer delivers it. With dimash that whistle almost made me cry although that high note is supposed to be annoying. But the way he sings, he is so great. I never saw anyone as good as him. There is a live performance of him i assure you that you will be emotional and might cry and get goosebumps the whole time while he is singing although there is no whistle in this song. Check it out all of you please Dimash+daybreak (bastau version) With respect to everyone in music industry but dimash took me elswhere.
