Love old Diners like that, we usually stop in Decatur at Sweetie Pies Ribeyes, but now another place to go. Thanks for sharing 👍🇺🇸

This Sweetie Pie Ribeyes sounds awfully tasty. If you end up in down town Dallas at all, theres this great butcher shop called Rudolphs that you should get a steak from. They got some killer Ribeyes there too. Been there since 1897 or something like that and they dry age all the beef for 6 weeks before we can eat. Its like Texas's official meat heaven for me.

Before it was Sweetie Pies, was Mattie’s. Mattie is a life long Wise Countian, and Vicky walked a many of miles in that building working for Mattie. When Mattie retired and closed is when Vicky leased the rock structure and turned on the neon.

I remember seeing this episode, not just because of the familiar name, but the looks of the food. Definitely some of the best looking breakfast food I’ve ever seen, especially in a small diner.

Love it when she said she can go up and boop someone on the head because she has dealt with them for a while ! Totally understand and get that statement can do the same with some of mine and I can give a lady a hug and they do not considered sexual harassment , its just a friendly hug !

So do know what a "Whistle Stop is?? Its a place where the train will stop if the train has something or someone to pick up or drop off, and if not, the train will keep on going and wont stop!! If they are going to stop, the engineer will blow the whistle and stop!! So its a Whistle- Stop!! 😊
