Another cruising video from Whitchurch (Llangollen canal) to Barbridge (Shropshire Union canal). Exhausting day with 18 locks. Didn't film too much as I just wanted to get off the Llangollen because it was very narrow in places which makes it a little stressful.

I enjoy the natural sounds, too, instead of crappy RU-vid music. I always turn the audio off when music starts and turn back on when the talking starts but that is only possible when the RU-vidr turns on the closed captioning. When you are filming without a gimbal the viewers can get nauseous, especially when you move the camera rapidly. You are filming from the stern, which is a plus. You are filming the canal and the views from the stern and the wildlife instead of yourself, which is another plus. I really don’t watch narrowboat videos because I want to count someone’s nostril hair. If you talk about your boat, your scenery, yes…I want to listen to…but that’s only possible if you turn on the cc!

I have bought a new camera which has sorted the stability out for the most part but have started doing time lapse in my videos most recent videos and as a result I have added music because of it not having audio. I can add commentary over it but that results in long bouts of silence which is why I opted for music. It's all my own music but I maybe do need to the chapters thing so people can skip past it if they're not into it. I also need to remember to film points of interest and wildlife as they have been slightly lacking in the last few videos. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feed back.

@@philrudkin yes, please turn on the cc and..for me personally, you don’t need to make a big effort filming points of interest…like historical stuff and going on and on about the history…I switch off audio then ☺️ But if you see a fat duck and say “he’s been eating too much pastry” ok…I’ll smile. If RU-vidrs would just talk to the camera like they would talk to someone standing at the stern with them…that’s what I like…”odd name for a boat…I wonder what it means…hey that’s a nice house…I ate a rotten burger in that pub once…” I don’t want a history lesson…just a cruise. 🙂 and I don’t mind time lapses…if I can turn audio back on when you are talking. And, by the way, I live in southern Arizona…in the Sonoran desert so your scenery is why I watch narrowboat vids…the desert is beautiful but …brown…many shades of brown…and dry…dusty…dry…brown. Your green and pleasant…and watery land makes a nice change for me.🙃 I’ll keep watching …

I get to give the first comment. We i am a new subscriber from America. I follow about 4 of you now. I really enjoy the natural sounds around you. But if you want to comment about how your day is going, or the weather, or where you are or going. I think that will be okay to. How long is your boat? How long you been traveling the canals? And what is your boats name?

@paulbauswellsr3296 First comment of the channel. Thank you brother. It's called Four Bees and it's 54ft. I've only been aboard for 1 year and 2 months so far, but I'm hoping that there will be many more years as I'm absolutely loving it.
