yes, maybe too many microphones, it is a complex work mixing when using mutipule mics. but i think maybe a little bit chorus-like sound is good for a pop music piano.

@@JamesChouAnimePiano i suppose for pop yeah it can be pretty welcome, but for solo im a bit on the fence hahaha. And yeah, multi-micing, especially piano, is an exceptionally arduous task in of itself compared to a simple stereo pair. Im sure you'll find the sweet spot as you experiment more :)

@@Erainia sure, thanks for your advice! I think we would test more, only one stereo pair would give a natural sound and maybe it sounds good enough as we have a "super" piano, but more mics really gives a more large-scale sound which i personally prefer, even without much processing i prefer this sound to the sound by only a pair of dpa 4006s. Maybe another reason is I used a L3 maximizer so maybe the sound is a little bit unnatural... Anyway, we would post more videos and try to make the sounding better and better, maybe we can discuss more in the furture.

@@Erainia And as you have said, maybe I'm focusing more on searching for a "welcome" sound, but not a precise sound.. But I really don't have much experience and knowledge on sound mixing ... Still have a long way to go
