Hi Melissa! How do you make your cake pop dough? I’m thinking it might have to do with the consistency of that. It may be too soft to hold up on the stick for dipping.
Are all cakesicles pre-made cakes mixed with something to get a dough consistency? I've never made them. A mold to bake cakesicles in would be nice. They're already formed and you don't have to mix the cake with anything. Just dip.
Yes from what I’ve been seeing from all the other videos is that you either bake a cake or get one already made.. and add some icing to it and mix it around until it has a dough like consistency.
Hi! I use box cake mix, follow directions on the box to bake but OMIT oil! It makes them too moist. Don't worry- they won't be dry. You'll add frosting back to make the dough after it's baked!
