I love that Quasimodo is how his friends see him, a capable, able bodied person, until Frollo shows up and he becomes what Frollo sees, hunchback and basically a child. This is great. Well done to everyone involved. The fight over the woven band is such sibling energy.
Tolle Darsteller/rinnen, Tolle Sänger/rinnen Tolle Schauspieler/rinnen und der Quasimodo Darsteller Einfach nur Fantastisch wie er diese Rolle verkörpert Wahnsinn Gänsehaut Pur 😊😊😊
Absolutely Loved This Production, The Emotions between Quasimodo and Esmerelda At The End Were Breathtaking. A Talented Cast Of Individuals #MusicalTheatreVibes 🎭💕🎶⭐️🌹🎼 Well Done 🎭💕🎶
The first time i saw this is was FLABBERGASTED so the day after I watched it again at 1pm and here I am still the second day watching it at 10 pm😅If that doesn’t tells you guys that this is AMAZING I don’t know what would😂
I agree with lot comments Quasimodo was the star of this show out of everyone. I am really mad a the director for not letting him get his Owen bow as he was the biggest part of show and has the hardest song to sing. He should had single bow . What doing director
honestly this might be my favorite version everyone is fantastic!!!!!! shoutout to the crew on theses big productions since they don’t get enough credit! Sets incredible!! Love the costumes, and the reference to the original esmeralda! lights and sound amazing, same with the pit band!!! Singers and performers amazing!!Overall fantastic job! sincerely a fellow theater kid
not doing anny assumptions just in the musical there were some thungs that mede me question it like the ASL signs or the fact that he asked her to..ljke idk how to say it? Sorry if it sounds rude.. :(
I would assume that the actor playing quasimodo is not deaf, however the character he's playing is partially deaf/hard of hearing! It's become something of a tradition with the character to incorporate hand gestures and a bit of broken ASL to add another layer to it.
There was, if I'm not mistaken, a production in which Quasimodo was played by a Deaf actor using his voice for when Quasimodo speaks to other people, and an offstage hearing actor who was his singing voice and his inner voice. So the Deaf Quasimodo would pantomime the singing, and apparently he was so good at it, that people didn't notice until curtains, when the hearing actor came out to take a bow.
